Thank you! I haven't done any new sites since the Gutenberg update so I am out of touch with the blocks. I am still getting used to them on edits!
Thanks so much for the help!September 9, 2019 at 8:47 am in reply to: Widget area for home page and mobile responsiveness #493471vanessacParticipantSomeone on the Genesis Facebook group suggested I may be able to use containers to get the widget at a specific point on the page. It's over a Front Page background image. Do you know if this is possible and if so, how it would be done?

I think she'll have to decide which option she prefers, either a non moving text or adjustable text but not in the exact position she wants.
Thanks for the help!vanessacParticipantI uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin with no change and I don't see it in the page source either.
vanessacParticipantI will try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
vanessacParticipantYes, it is on there and activated.
I am not sure why it wouldn't show.vanessacParticipantThanks Erika for your help!
vanessacParticipantI am still showing the sidebar to be below the content. For example, on this page:
Do you know if the Genesis Connect plugin is necessary to use?
vanessacParticipantActually, the site is temporarily unavailable because the host is working on the SSL still.
vanessacParticipantSorry. It should work properly now. Trying to fix an issue with SSL.
vanessacParticipantThanks Victor. I have seen plugins in the past that make a site mobile responsive but have been hesitant to try them especially since we use NextGen Gallery.
vanessacParticipantOddly enough, that plugin works for changing colors but doesn't work for changing the Img size from 100% to Auto.
vanessacParticipantI already had that installed on the Organic Wellbeing site and it didn't work. But I will try uninstalling and reinstalling.
Thanks!
VanessavanessacParticipantThanks for the advice but it didn't help.
The coding appears to be in the <div class="images"> section but I don't know where to change that.
Any other thoughts?vanessacParticipantNo, that didn't affect it.
vanessacParticipantI found a solution in AgentPress pro that I can use the Genesis Featured Post widget to create the grid as shown here: http://virtual-business-services.com/es/.
However we want to link it to Featured Pages with the same alignment because the Genesis Featured Pages widget doesn't look the same as the Featured Posts. Any thoughts or should I start a new topic?
Thanks!vanessacParticipantThanks so much! That finally did it!
I appreciate the help!!
VanessavanessacParticipantOK, that was it! The Genesis Nav Menu Amplified Plugin is installed and was messing it up.
Thanks for the help! Now on to the detailed tweaking...vanessacParticipantJust confirmed 2.1.2 is installed.
The only thing I did notice is when using Firebug, the Primary navigation has a class of "menu genesis-nav-menu menu-primary responsive-menu" on the sample site.
On the old site it says "secondary-menu menu nav".
Any ideas on how to change the class?vanessacParticipantYes, the navigation is correct. It's showing as Primary and Secondary in the right sections. I even unselected them, saved and reselected. It's weird!
