It now works but I have to refresh the screen to be able to see it.

Am I leaving something out?

Trying to add video unsuccessfully. I followed the instructions above. Added this thru the edit html source button. Nothing appears

I have the Metro theme and I've been trying to change my header.
What size should i be making the Illustrator file. I've tried sizes down to 40 pixels in the wdth but it doesn;t crop it right. It cuts off the height and sometimes to expand the to the full width of the header.

I'n trying to replace the current logo with contentconnections at this link.

Scroll down this post to the Chase Jarvis video. Then resize the window bigger and you will see the subhead "What Makes... reallign to the right of the video.

I can't seem to have it flow from the bottom of the video instead of to the right of it.

Also what is the best way to add video? It's so cumbersome and unstable. Too bad we can't use the visual editor. This is a bug right?
When i added the code to the Text editor like you said - 2 video players appeared. I had to delete the iframe code.
What should the procedure be to add video code?

Ii just added a link to the youtube video to save time and frustration. ( It appears in the Creativity is the new Literacy paragraph. "Watch the interview with co-Founder..."Here is the link to the YouTube video if you want to see what happens when you add video code.

Funny thing Ii added the code

changes the W 640 & H 360
Took out the existing code and I got 2 video players 1 under the other and the text ubder that was centered not flush left.

So Ii took out the code above and added teh original code

Refreshed and it looked fine. Just the one player.

But now I can't get the type to flow under the video instead of text wrap..
When I resize it the subhead: What Makes ... flows to the right of the video. How do I change this?

So for future videos what should I be doing? What is the quickest way to embed videos?

After I updated studiopress and wordpress recently I'm also having challenges with embedding videos.

I made a change to an older post cause the text flowed to the right instead of under the video like it was. Now the video is gone.
On another I just added a link to the video in YouTube.

What is the best way to embed videos from YouTube?
I've tried it 3 ways [3 tinyMCE icons]
1. Film Strip Icon : Insert/Edit Embedded Media
2. YouTube : Insert YouTube Video
3. Play button Arrow: Insert YouTube Video iFrame

I just want it to size at 600 W to cover whole column and let the text under it.

I'm not getting what you're saying so I just increased the size of the image, played with positioning and added more padding to move all the text under. They should really fix this so we can use the visual editor.

What do you mean the text editor and never use the visual editor?
I select Add Media Button and select the Photo and enter placemements. That doesn't seem to hold so then after it uploads the photo Ii go into the TREE Insert/Image editor and change it there. It used to work but after I upgraded the theme to the latest software it doesn't want to keep the changes.

I copied the entire code into the functions.php file right after :

The Leave A Comment box is right under the titles of the posts.

It doesn't make sense cause they haven't read he post yet. How can I move it to after the post instead?

In the Reading Settings I didn't have the Blog option so I created a new page called Blog using Blog Templates.

The Home page now has posts with summaries however:

1. The Home page and the Blog Page have the same posts

2. It doesn't have the images with each post.

3. It doesn't have page numbers at the bottom

4. It's missing the Share buttons

5. How do I remove the  Leave Comment Button at the top of the posts.

Thanks for the plugin it worked just fine.

Now about adding the pages. I was just giving an example 7-12.  I can't have all the posts I ever create on the home page or just have links in the side bar. I should be able to have unlimited pages with multiple posts as I create them like in most other themes.
It shows it is possible in the Metro Theme Demo.

On this page are 5 Sample posts

Then scroll all the way down and you will see:    1   2    3   Next Page >>

2I have 2 Questions I'd love to have answered.

1. I need to change the background ouside of the content area  http://blog.contenttriggers.com/ (like in the demo for Metro only my background would be a solid color))

I am trying to change it to be F5F1E5 (Cream color) and nothing happens - its stays white.

2.  Can I change the posts on the home/front page to have the titles above the images in the Featured Image as well as in th images in the next row?

I have had a similar problem with the Metro theme. By playing with the size I was able to get the logo in and it didn't cut it off. However, i want to change the background behind the Logo/Header, Posts, Sidebars back to white. I'll have to change the logo's background to white as well and have to reupload it.  Here is a link to my blog to see what I'm talking about: http://blog.contenttriggers.com

Questions:

1. What is the best way to bring this logo back in after i change the background to white so its repeatable?
Currently the size is 600x96(H)P.

2. The system doesn't resize the logo for responsive. Should i follow the instruction here http://www.wpmayor.com/code/how-to-set-your-own-logo-in-a-genesis-child-theme/   and upload a new size -See below

Genesis child themes include breakpoints in their CSS which change the way things are displayed at certain sizes. So lets say that we wanted our logo centered on any screen size below 768px.

We need to find the styles pertaining to this breakpoint, and add our new header style, as follows:
