MemberThanks! I finally just bypassed the built-in header feature, and coded it into the CSS. That worked and the client was happy. 🙂

MemberIt is a cool feature. I've been using Genesis for quite a while. This is the first time I've had this issue. So puzzling.
BTW: the link you sent is if you only want to display a single blog post category on the blog page; in my case, we want to pull all categories onto the blog page, as the blog page template is normally coded to do

MemberYes, a page that uses the blog page template will show a list of blog posts. That's the whole purpose of it. 🙂

MemberStill haven't found a resolution for this issue. Anyone else found out how to fix the mysterious disappearing header?

MemberAs I stated in my original post - the uncheck "display header text" is not showing on this site. Otherwise I would have tried that. 😉
There is no option in the Tapestry theme to select image or logo.
There is no option under Appearance > Header to remove the text over the header image.
