MemberHello
I have a site using the Magazine theme. I created a blank page called Blog, used the blog page template and saved it. Just like usual. When I click to PREVIEW the page, you can see the blog post excerpts, as you should.
However, when you view the live page on the web, it's blank. http://www.tenyearsyounger.com/blog/
Very puzzling. Why would the posts show in the preview, and not on the live page? Any clue what could be causing this issue?
We're using the latest Genesis framework and WordPress versions.
Thanks in advance.

MemberCan you provide more detail? Are you looking for a list of blog posts to be there? A page generally won't show a list of "posts".

MemberYes, a page that uses the blog page template will show a list of blog posts. That's the whole purpose of it. 🙂

MemberCurious. Never used that feature of Genesis before. You taught me something new and I've been using Genesis for quite some time. Doing some quick research I found this tutorial, http://my.studiopress.com/tutorials/category-blog-page/. Not sure if it would be a help or if you've already gone through that checklist.
In a quick test of the magazine theme on a site of mine, it worked perfectly. Love learning something new. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can offer you much beyond that.

MemberIt is a cool feature. I've been using Genesis for quite a while. This is the first time I've had this issue. So puzzling.
BTW: the link you sent is if you only want to display a single blog post category on the blog page; in my case, we want to pull all categories onto the blog page, as the blog page template is normally coded to do

MemberYes, I know the page got specific. When i tested, I did not narrow it down, shows all posts.

MemberHi tracie,
Not sure if this will help, but here goes. It looks like your 'Program' link in your sub navigation is your blog page? If so, you can go to the custom menu and, where you have that 'Program' item, replace it with the category item for the category that holds those Program posts. Unless I'm totally misunderstanding your question, that should do the trick.April 12, 2013 at 10:21 pm #35175bill scheider
MemberHi Tracie,
I just rechecked your site and the Program link is actually null (sorry I didn't notice earlier). But the Coaching submenu item does bring up a page of content.Maybe you're trying to do something other than what I'm understanding.
