Hi Brad,
I would also like to have a portfolio in Agency Pro and am wanting to try your suggestion above.
Is this the code from Executive Pro that you are referring to?
To implement this in Agency Pro, do I just change out the names where appropriate?Thanks
/* Portfolio --------------------------------------------- */ .executive-pro-portfolio .portfolio { float: left; padding: 0 30px 30px; width: 33.33333333%; } .executive-pro-portfolio .portfolio:nth-of-type(3n+1) { clear: left; } .single-portfolio .content { text-align: center; }

That's great! I'm glad that you were able to work it out. It does look great on the site. Who would have thought that something so simple could make such a big difference - I wish I had thought of it sooner 🙂
Well done - it's hard working these things through sometimes, but really worth it when you get there!
Cheers,
Tim

I haven't tried this myself but this plugin might work for you.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-title-toggle/
Turn on/off page titles on a per page basis, and set sitewide defaults from Theme Settings.
Cheers,
Tim

Sorry that I'm not being much help. I've tried again to check your site with my developer tools, and can't figure out why the image is not displaying at the correct size for you.
I'm sure that when that is fixed the image and text will work in the way that they should, but I'm stuck without a solution.
My only further suggestion would be to submit a support ticket directly to StudioPress Help. As it seems to be a problem within the theme settings somewhere, as distinct from CSS and code modifications, they may be able to help.
I'll keep trying to think of a solution. Please let me know how you get on with things.
Cheers,
Tim
February 10, 2015 at 6:12 pm in reply to: Enterprise Pro Theme – Home Top Featured Post Help #140410Tim SquiresMemberBack again Aletha,
I set up a local test Enterprise Pro install.
When I use my developer tools to inspect the image on my home page, it measures 750x600.
But when I inspect the image on your home page, it measures only 185x273.
This has me puzzled, but makes me think that one more thing to check is the size at which your images are uploaded into your media library.
Check that and meanwhile I'll try to figure out other possibilities. It may also have something to do with the proportions of your image - for example, the demo site image area is wider than it is tall.
Hang in there,
Cheers,
Tim

I have to go out now, but will come back to this later (and I'll keep thinking about it)
Sorry again - I know how frustrating things like this can be.
Talk again soon,
Tim

One idea: go back into the settings for the post that you are displaying and check that the featured image is set at the correct size.
February 10, 2015 at 2:17 pm in reply to: Enterprise Pro Theme – Home Top Featured Post Help #140375Tim SquiresMemberHi Aletha,
In the bottom left corner of your screen shot there is an "Image alignment" drop down menu. At the moment it appears to be set to "None". See if you can set it to "Left" - I Hope that will work, but let me know if it doesn't 🙂

Tim SquiresMemberHi Stacey,
You should be fine to update provided that you haven't made any customisations or modifications to the Genesis core of version 1.82 that you are currently using.As long as your changes are only in the child theme (Lifestyle 2.02) you will be safe.
But I would recommend making a backup of the site before you update as a best practice precaution in the unlikely event that you need to revert back.
Cheers,
Tim
February 9, 2015 at 11:19 pm in reply to: Enterprise Pro Theme – Home Top Featured Post Help #140290Tim SquiresMemberHi Aletha,
You should be able to do this without touching the code.
Check the settings of the featured post/page that is currently in your home-top widget area.
First, check that the "align image left" option is selected.
Then check which image size the featured image is displaying at (you may need to select a larger size).

Tim
Tim SquiresMemberPS: Just noticed that my indents are a bit sloppy, and I will change the name of the widget to better reflect where it appears on the page. But at least it's working 🙂

Tim SquiresMemberHi again Carlo,
Thanks for your help — I've figured it out now and it works perfectly.For anyone following, in my functions.php I have this;
//* Register after header widget area genesis_register_sidebar( array( 'id' => 'after-header', 'name' => __( 'After Header', 'education' ), 'description' => __( 'This is the after header widget area.', 'education' ), ) );
...and in my front-page.php I have this:
function education_home_top_widgets() { genesis_widget_area( 'home-featured', array( 'before' => '<div class="home-featured widget-area">', 'after' => '</div>', ) ); genesis_widget_area( 'home-top', array( 'before' => '<div class="home-top widget-area"><div class="wrap">', 'after' => '</div></div>', ) ); genesis_widget_area( 'after-header', array( 'before' => '<div class="after-header widget-area"><div class="wrap">', 'after' => '</div></div>', ) ); genesis_widget_area( 'home-middle', array( 'before' => '<div class="home-middle widget-area"><div class="wrap">', 'after' => '</div></div>', ) ); }
Thanks again, Carlo
Tim
Tim SquiresMemberHi Carlo,
Thanks for your reply.I've found the correct place to place the code in frontpage.php, but I must be pasting the wrong code as it isn't working.
Do I remove the whole block of code from functions.php, or just a section of it? (sorry, I'm not sure of the difference between the 'hook' and the 'call')
I've tried a few combinations, but no luck.
Many thanks for your help!
Tim
Tim SquiresMemberHi Carlo,
Thanks, yes, that's explained much more clearly.Hi Sweatandfuel,
This is the code that I added to my functions.php (with Carlo's help) to achieve the display currently on my sandbox site://* Register before footer widget area genesis_register_sidebar( array( 'id' => 'before-footer', 'name' => __( 'Before Footer', 'sample' ), 'description' => __( 'This is the before footer widget area.', 'sample' ), ) ); //* Hook before footer widget area before site footer add_action( 'genesis_before_footer', 'bg_before_footer_widget_area', 5 ); function bg_before_footer_widget_area() { genesis_widget_area( 'before-footer', array( 'before' => '<div class="before-footer widget-area"><div class="wrap">', 'after' => '</div></div>', ) ); }
The effect is here, with calendars added in to show content in the widget areas:
http://www.timsquires.com.au/sandbox/
I though that this would be a good option if you wanted a full-width widget area but also would like to retain your existing footer widgets for possible future use.Otherwise, yes, Carlo's last suggestion is very clear and should work if you just want to change what's there already.
Cheers,
Tim
Tim SquiresMemberTim SquiresMemberHi,
Also, if you don't mind losing your current widgets, you could use this tutorial and adjust from 3 back to 1 accordingly:http://my.studiopress.com/tutorials/add-footer-widgets/
Hope I'm not confusing you, but that is closer to your original goal and may be easier.
Cheers,
Tim
Tim SquiresMemberHi,
This involves some coding, if you get stuck let me know.I would leave the current footer widgets inactive (don't put anything in them now, but keep them there in case you need them later).
Then I would add in another new widget area to go full width across the page.
To understand the process, take a look at this tutorial by Brian Gardner, but instead of using the hook 'genesis_before_header' I would use 'genesis_before_footer':
http://briangardner.com/add-widget-area-site-header/The Genesis Visual Hook Guide plugin will help you to see the area that I am talking about.
You will need to use css to style your new widget area.
I hope that helps, but as I said, let me know if you get stuck.
Cheers,
Tim
