Do you mean look within the forum for responses about functions.php and front-page.php? Just trying to understand your suggestion?sylvia browderMemberHi AbbyPanda,
I will take a shot at this because I am using the same theme for one of my clients. The image MUST be precisely 1040 ?— 400. IF it isnt, then you will see the variance in the slides. I normally size mine in paint.See, http://pmctaxes.com/
Hope this helps!!!
P.S. (Your logo is great, I am struggling with size and placement)
sylvia browderMemberVery awesome, I will play with it.
Thanks!!!!
sylvia browderMemberThanks so much Davinder. I sent you the image and I appreciate you making it circular for me. I am a bit loss on the image folder.. I've struggled with this in some of my other designs, so I am going to search for a YouTube video to visually see how to make the change.
Otherwise, you've been a major help and I am grateful.
Sylvia
sylvia browderMemberThanks so much. I went from page to page and used cut / Control V to clean up the font. Hopefully I got it all.
Thanks again!! 🙂sylvia browderMemberHey Eamon Moriarty,
Thanks as well for your valuable advice. I hadn't realized that the text changed. Do I need to go into the editor screen and make the changes?sylvia browderMemberDavinder,
I am very excited by your suggestions; especially the mailchamp plugin. Can't wait to get to my home office to work on your suggestions. 2 Quick questions:2.Try lighter shade background image in slider area.
**How do I change the background within the slider. Would it involve going into editor? Is there a code?3. Image in welcome area, you can make it circular or add round corners.
** Is there a plugin to make the image circular? I've seen alot of people use it but wasn't sure what program they used to do so.sylvia browderMemberHi Darren,
I like the look and feel of the site, very professional layout and colors are soothing to the eye. I think you did a great job.Sylvia

Very nice and especially for your first time. I definitely agree with Darren and Davinger that you should work on the menu. I also noticed the menu's font is rather small. Change that background color and when you do, consider changing the color of your social media plugin to match the background color. Are you going to use a slider on the home page?
Otherwise, good job!
sylvia browderMemberWow, thank you so much. The site is back to normal.
November 24, 2013 at 10:15 pm in reply to: Can't Change Color of Navagation & Background in Outreach #75422sylvia browderMemberI appreciate your feedback. How do I find the background besides fire bug? I will play around with fire bug, thank you.
sylvia browderMemberThank you Robg and Mary for your comments and compliments.
Robg - I looked for the 'feature bottom' widget and even searched for it as a plugin to no avail. I put another widget in its place to remove the text.
Mary - you are so correct about that image, in fact, I had already talked to my client about it and she sent me a more recent one.
Thanks again!
August 6, 2013 at 10:29 am in reply to: Can't Change Color of Navigation Bar Using Serenity Theme #54387sylvia browderMemberThanks so much for your assistance. I made the changes as you suggested, but something went wrong. I actually lost the green bar, its gone. When you say remove the image code, are you referring to ("images/footer.png"). I removed ("images/footer.png") from each of the following:
--- #content #slider h4,
--- #sidebar h4, #sidebar-alt h4
--- #footerI am not sure what the 'image code' is since obviously all nav bars.
