    In the Page-specific scripts box at the bottom of your Archive edit page (2-3 screenloads down), try:

    .after-header {
    display: none
    }

    You can put this CSS

    • in the stylesheet,
    • in the Page-specific Scripts box way down at the bottom of the edit Page (if you only need it on the Home page), or
    • perhaps in the locations you can inject header code (some Genesis plugins).

    I trust you figured out that you set the "background-color" and the text "color" to the same value in .home-top .button.
