Agency Pro Home Top Button (Firefox)

Howdy! I have two websites using Agency Pro, and the button that goes in the Home-Top widget (just like in the demo) does not render properly in Firefox. Looks as it should in Chrome and Safari, but for some reason it's dark grey text on black which looks like black buttons above the fold on Firefox only. Anyone know what's happening here and how I can fix it? Thank yooooo!

you have some errors in your HTML markup.
I would fix those and see if that fixes the problem.

I trust you figured out that you set the "background-color" and the text "color" to the same value in .home-top .button.

yes thank you and I don't believe we set it this way, it came this way out of the box. fixed nonetheless, and yet the issue remains, on Firefox only...

It's not working in Firefox because you have a background gradient in the css for a.button that is only being applied to browsers using the Mozilla rendering engine. Chrome and Safari use webkit. Look for this line in your style.css:

background: -moz-linear-gradient(center top,#222 0,#222 100%) repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
