Thanks for that info, Anita. The styling issues with Eleven40 Pro I remember now. Were you giving the Magazine Pro page as an example of a good WooCommerce shop page after StudioPress started adding style? Or was there another reason for the link?
Cheers again!ShmickMickMemberI suspected that might have been what it was, however, I just disabled lazy-loading of all media and it still does like a double-load. Would there be something in Monochrome Pro still forcing the lazy loading of media? If so, how do I disable that?
Thank you for taking the time to check by the way.
ShmickMickMemberUpdate on WooCommerce Checkout page problem:
My hosting had enabled force https. They disabled it and from their end it fixed the problem. I'm still seeing it though. If anyone can try (as if they were a customer) to go to the checkout page and type in the payment details fields, I'd love to hear if it works or not.
Apart from that, any ideas on the bottom block of the home page? How do I get rid of it?
Regards,
MickShmickMickMemberHa, the link I created seems to have a direct Buy Now button which takes you to the cart page. I didn't know that was a feature! 🙂
ShmickMickMemberThanks for the reply, Anita.
I have disabled the Coming Soon plugin temporarily. You'll be able to see the white space/block on the home page just before the footer - the primary block background image on the left hand side shows it. I'm not sure why the white space/block is there.
For the Woocommerce Checkout page, if someone is generous enough to have a look you would need to add a product to cart for the checkout form to show. If you go directly to this page/product and press Add To Cart then the sidebar cart will open automatically -
From there, you just need to press "Checkout"
Scroll to the bottom and you will see that noone can add the payment details.Regards,

ShmickMickMemberI appreciate the tips, thanks.
ShmickMickMemberAh okay, that's disappointing then. Now you say that, I did notice the footer change after I started using the pop-up plugin.
I assume contacting the pop-up plugin owners to ask what I can do about it is going to be the answer, but is this a common thing? I mean, pop-up plugins affecting the footer section of a website? Seems so random.
ShmickMickMemberThanks for finding that and posting.
I took that line of code out, on the recommendation of Victor who helps here on the forums, because the links in the footer were not working at all. It fixed the link problem but now seems to have caused this other mini-problem. Seems a little strange to have this glitch right out of the box.
Do you think I should contact support?

ShmickMickMemberThank you very much, Victor.
I haven't played around with it. How do you think that bit of code got in there?
ShmickMickMemberI've been using the free version for just over a month - it's working fine, is user-friendly and does the job.
ShmickMickMemberHaha, yeah Yuan, squash is the only racquet sport where both players occupy the same space so lost teeth, cuts, bruises and the occasional blindness are not that uncommon! 🙂
Thanks for the tip. I didn't go exactly with what you showed but I did make the optin box much brighter. I think it gets the attention of first time visitors a bit better. If there's anything else that you or anybody else notices, please don't hesitate to send a note. CheersShmickMickMemberYep, very yellow 🙂 Thanks!
ShmickMickMemberOkay, thanks Christoph. And what about the background image? I want to reduce the height so it's only about 1cm tall. Any tips? And/or how much would you charge to do this for me? 🙂
