    Hi All,

    I've just discovered that Updraft Plus has deleted itself (or mysteriously disappeared) from all the websites that I had been using it on. The majority of my websites are on Genesis Framework, and these sites are being affected, as well as non Genesis WP sites.

    *Maybe this was because it was the free version?

    I'd love to hear a recommendation for another backup option. I've tried BackupWordpress, and have paid for that in the past, but it was terrible, and causing problems.

    UpdraftPlus recently released a new version. Perhaps something went wrong with the update? Whatever the case, have to contacted their support team?

    Thanks Victor,

    Because I have been using the free version, I put up a support request on the WP plugins site.

    I recall seeing an article by you about a problem with a backup using UpdraftPlus. Are you still using them for your backups?

    Actually, on further investigation, it is just the sites running Genesis that have been experiencing the disappearance.

    What was the postscript on this? I'm currently looking for a backup solution and UpdraftPlus looks very appealing to me, provided it works.

    I reinstalled and it has been working good since. I am using a paid version.

    I've been using the free version for just over a month - it's working fine, is user-friendly and does the job.
