MemberThank you both for your kind reply. So what should I do now?
I guess that means I have to change themes?
How do you know if a SP theme is XHTML or HTML?

MemberIt is very easy to do this.
Just go to your dashboard;
Scroll down on the left hand side to SETTINGS/GENERAL;
Then scroll down to the date format;
Click on CUSTOM;
Erase anything in the little box;
Then scroll down to the SAVE CHANGES and click on it."Dates are Gone!" 😉

MemberThis is me again... ShariLee, still having trouble. One question I have is: "Does the front page of Author Pro only show content when it is in a widget?" I ask this because I entered content directly on the page, but it is not showing up at all--even though I published the page.

MemberThanks Erin. I know that you are correct in this. I just don't like the way it looks at the top, but I can play around with it. I can't leave it like it is, and I'm not courageous enough to try and alter the theme. LOL! Thanks again. I do love this theme.

MemberThank you for the access to that, Brad. It is actually a bit over my head, but I am going to take a crack
at it. I'm still somewhat spinning my wheels in this business, but not giving up.

MemberNo. I thought you were asking what size it is now, which if I had read--instead of skimmed--I would have answered correctly in the first place instead of wasting your valuable time. ;(
Hopefully, you will accept my embarrassed apology! 😉I am unclear as to the size it should be in order to cover the entire top of the page. I believe it has to be somewhere around 1500 px wide, but I honestly don't know the answer.

MemberThank you, Brad. Right now it is 1021 x 375. I would like it to be across the page. The reason I chose this theme is because of the graphic
capabilities I thought it had, but what the theme shows does not seem to be possible unless I use the loaded graphics,
which will not work for this blog.

MemberI looked at a lot of plugins that I thought would work with SP child themes, and the one you suggested is obviously a really good one. The problem I am having is that I am going to need a lot more flexability than it offers. I have opted to go with PaidmembershipsPro. What I would like to ask now is: will paidmembershipspro work well with Agency Pro Theme, or do I need to choose another? Thanks.

MemberOK, well that didn't do anything different. I guess I am not savvy enough to get it to work. Anymore suggestions?

MemberThank you froban. I did realize I could adjust the header width in the DPPro plugin, but I have not been able to get my title to show up in the size and font I want. I have made a graphic and attempted to put it in, but it is very frustrating because I can't figure it out. Your sentence ends with[ #title a] what does that mean?

MemberThanks so much for your reply above. Is your membership by the month or by the year? I find it really frustrating a lot of the time to come here. There are so many people asking questions, and don't get answers that quick. I have better luck at YouTube to tell you the truth. Some of the questions, I can answer, so I do. PS: Still don't have my header fixed. ;+

MemberBrad, Thanks, but this IS the forum. Unless, Design Pallet Pro has a different forum. The other, I think, coincidence is the new WP update. I saw on here where someone else lost their header right after the update. I went to your link above, and that seems to be your website. Do you only give help on here if I belong to your site? Please let me know.

MemberThis happened to me, and I went to my hosting company. I told them the problem and what I had posted. They found it for me and fixed it. If they don't do this for you, maybe you can look at a tutorial they have and fix it through your php file in cpanel. Just a thought. I use Hostgator. Hope this helps.
