My site is: http://theoldfloridablogger.com/ I would like to make my header image very large and across the page. Right now it is a tiny header image, and there is this enormous forest scene. If I use this theme am I locked into their graphics? Thanks for any help, ShariLee

Thank you, Brad. Right now it is 1021 x 375. I would like it to be across the page. The reason I chose this theme is because of the graphic
capabilities I thought it had, but what the theme shows does not seem to be possible unless I use the loaded graphics,
which will not work for this blog.

No. I thought you were asking what size it is now, which if I had read--instead of skimmed--I would have answered correctly in the first place instead of wasting your valuable time. ;(
Hopefully, you will accept my embarrassed apology! 😉

I am unclear as to the size it should be in order to cover the entire top of the page. I believe it has to be somewhere around 1500 px wide, but I honestly don't know the answer.

You would need to modify the CSS so the site header extends full width.

Then you can add the image using different methods. PHP, CSS or jQuery.

Don't forget the before header menu only extends the width of the wrap so you might consider extending that also.

And you will also be laying your header image over the widget background image.

Thank you for the access to that, Brad. It is actually a bit over my head, but I am going to take a crack
at it. I'm still somewhat spinning my wheels in this business, but not giving up.
