Yes, Susan for the win!
scoeMemberMe neither. Let's find out. 🙂
scoeMemberHi Susan!
I will if they don't see this. I want to save my support tickets for hair-on-fire emergencies.
No hurry here. I think people believe me that it is GPL.

No worries. I'm going to post to support. Just to make sure I've done all I can. Thanks again for your answers and encouragement. I'll post again here if I learn anything different.
Take care,

Looks like you were right. I does not include Sticky Posts in the count, which surprised me. Totally embarrassing.
“Blog pages show at most” is set to 1. So with 2 stickies that gives me 3 posts on the home page. I wish there was a way to control the total number of posts. Hate to think that unsticking a post would run the design. Live and learn.
So thanks!!

Thanks for the response. I am following the tutorial exactly and the number of posts does not respond to changes in the "Blog pages show at most" option. Not in Minimum Pro with the desired number of posts at 2.
Still trying...
Thanks,
Sheryl

scoeMemberThanks David, You have helped me not waste my time on that.
I will try a plain vanilla install and see if that helps. I can't delete backstretch right now.
scoeMemberHi David,
Thank you for your quick response 🙂 I don't have jQuery working for me.
That example I posted is just a plain stand-alone html page. It works outside WordPress just fine. My goal is to get this to work when I put this in a page. (Now I am using my own accordion script. Not as pretty.)
I tried that "jQuery UI Widgets" plugin but was not able to get it to work. Just as your code. So it's got to be me. I know that jquery involves including css files and I have done nothing there. I think that's where my missing piece is.
I tried putting in the script field. Nothing. No error. The backstretch plugin works, so maybe I should see how.
I'm probably in over my head, but those jQuery UI widgets are worth stretching for.

September 3, 2013 at 8:43 pm in reply to: Minimum Pro – How can I control the background image re-sizing #60553scoeMemberHello Minimum Fans!
Yes, the way the theme "mangled" his photo was the only complaint my client had.
So until the fix comes down, it has to be exactly the dimensions of the original photo? 1600 width x 1050 height, 96 dpi
Will this change after the fix? I was thinking of preparing a selection for my client but if this will change, I won't. (Let me know here if you want me to post the rejects.)
If the client wants a photo of the same width but much shorter height, to avoid all the scrolling, is that going to be okay after the fix?
By the way, I definitely recommend images that look good no matter how they are sliced in the horizontal band. Nature scenes work best, landscapes, cityscapes. Something with depth, bookshelves work less well. People, not so much. I think that's fair. All parallax images are that way.

scoeMemberI don't know if this pertains to your experience, but I notice that if I leave eleven40 Pro Footer 1 widget area empty and fill Footer 3 with content, the whole footer bar disappears.
Put text widget in Footer 1 the whole bar comes back.
Buglet. Anybody here can confirm that?
scoeMemberI notice they are adding "Pro" to the names of themes that have been updated.
eleven40 Pro
Sixteen Nine ProSo I am wondering, are they going to release the earlier themes on a non-Pro basis?
If that is the case, we still need to be prepared to customize and support them, if "we" do that sort of thing.Just wondering. Any insights?

scoeMemberThank you Brad. Useful.
scoeMemberHello mpFOx,
The DiverseSolutions.com plugin that accesses MLS listings is a premium plugin. You can sign up for a 30 day demo. Post here again if you need help on it but they do offer support for their plugin (not the studiopress theme itself).
Thanks,
SCOE
scoeMemberHi Brankica, here's the private message. Let me know if you need any help. My client's decor site is:
hearthandhome.net
Also, I ended up using a default featured image plugin to use a tiny gold image set to the same width as the featured image specs. It gave me a tiny gold line on the top of all posts where I did not otherwise specify a featured image.
That solved the featured image problem, but caused a problem with the drop-down date as it would drop down over the text since the image was so small so I turned off the date. I am working  my way through a course on CSS at the moment, so you are free to have anything from my site, but it may be more hassle than it's worth, because... kluges.
Anyway the private message is below. Be sure to download the latest decor files because the demo now does not have these errors (?) so they may have updated the code for decor. Not sure.

Hi Mike Muller,
You may have selected in Genesis-Theme Settings -> Content Archives – Include the Featured Image. If you check that you’ll get a double image. You can also make this mistake in featured posts widgets. The featured image is included by default on archive pages in the Decor theme. If you have a featured image you can’t NOT show it in Archives for posts (not pages).
This is private because I am not sure it’s a solution.

scoeMemberThis reply has been marked as private.scoeMemberHi gomlers,
Thank you for reminding me to post this!
StudioPress support got back to me within 24 hours. AWESOME, aren't they?
In your style.css file, find the following:
.page .wrap,
.post .wrap {
background: #fff url(images/post-swirl.png) no-repeat right bottom;
}Change this to:
.entry .wrap {
background: #fff url(images/post-swirl.png) no-repeat right bottom;
}To fix the search results appearing in the header,  add this to your style.css file:
.search h1 {
margin-top: 40px;
}((I added it at the end of the first screen section (before the <800 section starts, but that's me.))
If there is any other problems you are having let me know. Â I am just stumbling through but I have worked out so many kinks with the help of other people here, I won't hesitate to help if I can.
