RobinMemberYour question isn't silly to me. The font is Lato. Here is more than you probably wanted to know.

RobinMemberThe Epik theme is one of my favorites. You've done a great job with it. I especially like the way you handled the videos. What plugin did you use?
I was going to suggest the Epik forum for your question, but I see you been over there. I'm subscribing because I'm curious to know the answer as well.

RobinMemberYou can change the number of posts in the Settings ==> Reading ==> Blog pages show at most
or (and probably better solution for you)
Choose a static page or post in the Settings ==> Reading ==> Front page displays

RobinMemberI also like the simplistic design that you made for your client. To me, simple is best and less is more.
That's a great idea, Anita! I will borrow that one.

RobinMemberOne of the best tools to use to find the styling of elements is Firebug. You can get it as an extension for Chrome and Firefox. Once you identify the element, you can then go to your style.css to make the changes.

RobinMemberIn your css, you will need to change the background-color of the .site-header element.
/*
Site Header
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */.site-header {
background-color: #000;
color: #999;
float: left;
height: 100%;
padding-top: 40px;
padding-top: 4rem;
position: fixed;
text-align: center;
width: 240px;
}

RobinMemberHave you tried removing the line that says -webkit-box-shadow: 0 3px 5px #ddd in the Images section of your css?
/* Images
------------------------------------------------------------ */img,
img a {
-moz-box-shadow: 0 3px 5px #ddd;
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 3px 5px #ddd;
border: 5px solid #fff;
}

RobinMemberMy suggestion for a theme to start with would be AgentPress. However, AgentPress is not responsive.
So perhaps you could use the AgentPress Listing plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/agentpress-listings/ or the QuickSand plugin http://www.developingtheweb.co.uk/plugins/quicksand-wordpress-plugin/ and adjust to meet your needs.

RobinMemberMy guess would be to create your form the way you want in Aweber
or
Edit Aweber styling code in Dreamweaver or other editing software.

RobinMemberShelly, I can't see your website because your contruction page is showing, however the button might be going to a 404 page because your Contact Us page is not specified in the link.
For example, if the link for your page is http://www.simplywords.co.za/contact
then the
<div class="one-fourth"><a class="button alignright" href="#">Contact Us Today</a></div>
needs to be
<div class="one-fourth"><a class="button alignright" href="http://www.simplywords.co.za/contact">Contact Us Today</a></div>

RobinMemberCan you post a link to your site? What rotators have you tried? My first response would be have you tried the Genesis Responsive slider?

RobinMemberThis reply has been marked as private.August 7, 2013 at 8:05 pm in reply to: How to make a page that has 2, different-width columns? #54791RobinMemberI've had that happen before. Since you will be using columns often and they will vary, You might find it easier to use the Genesis Shortcodes plugin.

RobinMemberYou may not be the source of the problem. You are the second poster who experienced odd sidebar/widget behavior today. I'm guessing it might be a problem with the update to WordPress 3.6

August 6, 2013 at 1:09 pm in reply to: Problem with Header, Executive Theme, Header Links to Old Theme #54441RobinMemberWell, that is strange.
The error appears to be a javascript error in reading the image type. "Resource interpreted as Image but transferred with MIME type text/html"
I would submit a support ticket to SP or contact your host provider for assistance in fixing/removing.

Edited to add: First I would, go through and resave the primary and home right widgets. Then be sure to clear your website cache and browser cache

RobinMemberBased on the 9 plugins that I see detected on your website, there may not be any conflict...but I would check to determine if a recently added plugin might be causing the issue.
