Can someone point me in the right direction

i want to create some sort of directory listing site with a genesis child theme (or try to create one)

people need not only be able to just perform a search but also to be able to search based on filters like : city and/or category and/or subcategory

than based on that selection i want to be able to show all results with most important info in the exerpts, when clicked they get presented the full page with all details that need to go in there like address and all that stuff

i needs to stay responsive (genesis 2.0 framework) and optimized for seo

i want to use yoast seo and the locations add on (schema.org)

can anyone set me in the right direction so i can work from there?

    Thanks a lot!

My suggestion for a theme to start with would be AgentPress. However, AgentPress is not responsive.

So perhaps you could use the AgentPress Listing plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/agentpress-listings/ or the QuickSand plugin http://www.developingtheweb.co.uk/plugins/quicksand-wordpress-plugin/ and adjust to meet your needs.

really... nobody else here that can help me out?

i want to achieve the same kind of result as this ready to go theme has premiumpress directory but than on the genesis 2.0 framework

i like the way it is set up and how listings are shown in front end

i just need to be set in the right direction on what i would need to do...
    - i like to be able to use the html 5 markup, schema, yoast seo and local...
    - i like to be able to create and maintain a fast and secure site
    - businesses will be created in a certain category and city
    - i need to be able to include a webshop for users too
    - i don't want to rely on plugins if it is to be avoided

so can this be done just using taxonomies or something?

    cheers carlo
