How to make a page that has 2, different-width columns?

Hello,
I have watched the video that tells us how to make columns on a page of text, but it only shows for equal-width columns.
I need to make a page that has 2 columns, one of which is 1/3 width of the page and the 2nd column to be 2/3 width of the page. How would I do this? Btw, some pages would have the wider column on the right side, some on the left, and some to be 2 columns of the same width ...perhaps better to say that the columns will vary on different pages.

(I've searched the forum but the code shown in the relevant thread does not work:

but as can be seen it doesn't show correctly

I've had that happen before. Since you will be using columns often and they will vary, You might find it easier to use the Genesis Shortcodes plugin.

UPDATE: Sorry, back again 🙂 ...This is an example it gives in the README text:

[one_third_first]CONTENT[/one_third_first][one_third]CONTENT[/one_third]

I take it the 'CONTENT' is where we should put the content of a column but there are only 2 'CONTENT' and yet this is for thirds. I'm probably being thick here, but have played around putting the third bit of text in various position in that code but can't get 3 nice clean columns 🙁
