ParticipantVery strange. I use Firefox on iMac as well... have tried it on two different computers and also tried using Safari, Chrome and Brave. Having same problem across the board.

ParticipantThank you Anita. I followed those instructions and added the link there and saved/updated - however when I click on the link button nothing happens. Goes nowhere. There must be something wrong somewhere. Maybe I need to fill out a tech support ticket.

ParticipantHi, yes, thank you. I had migrated from Atomic to Genesis Blocks when it had suggested I do so. Apparently I wasn't aware that I also needed to update the Essence Pro app even though it wasn't saying an update was available. In any case, problem resolved.
RichardNJ
ParticipantI really just want it to look like the Essence Pro sample/Demo site. Could the problem be that the site I'm having a problem with is using Genesis Blocks instead of Atomic?

ParticipantIt looks like the Shareaholic plugin may have been the issue. I need to look into another social media share plugin.
Thank you Anita for your help and follow-up. Enjoy your weekend!RichardNJ
ParticipantThank you very much Anita! I will give this a try. 🙂

ParticipantAlso... when you scroll down toward the bottom of the article posts, there is a strange small slanted 404 image of my page.

ParticipantI'm having a similar problem. For some reason, the date and author are not showing on posts and I would like it too. I've looked over that tutorial and can't find help. I don't even have a Singular Content tab in Theme Settings.
RichardNJ
ParticipantThank you Victor. So the developer clearly had reasoning to remove the post meta details... so this brings up another question. Does it serve a purpose to have them appear? Is it just a preference?
RichardNJ
ParticipantThank you Victor. My apologies. I thought this plugin was one by StudioPress/Genesis, not a third party.
RichardNJ
ParticipantThis is a big problem for me. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

ParticipantI also tried installing the Genesis Responsive Slider plugin, and that doesn't work either. It does not appear where it should on the homepage.

ParticipantThanks for directing me to that link. Yes, I see that Note now. Very strange though because like I said with the Lifestyle theme I had in place for several years, I had it set to All Categories and had the text link read: More Latest Articles
When I changed to this new theme, I can't get it to work...although as you pointed out... it shouldn't work. Which really doesn't make sense why wouldn't... let alone why it did with other theme.
In any case, thank you for your help and suggestion. Much appreciated.

ParticipantI am selecting the first option which is to show All Categories. That is how WordPress should know... to show all which would be the latest ones in order.
I used the Lifestyle theme for several years and it worked that way, as it should. I just recently upgraded my site to the Daily Dish Pro theme, and it is not working as it did before. If you select All Categories, then it should show the link to see more archive posts in order from All Categories.
Maybe there is some glitch with the Daily Dish Pro theme preventing this from working as it should.

ParticipantI also tried installing the Genesis Sandbox Featured Content Widget and all that does is adds numbered page tabs at the bottom where it should show the category archive link, however when you click on any of the numbered page tabs, nothing even happens. I don't understand how the category archive link appears in each section I have on my homepage but just not the Home-Top section. It seems like some glitch somewhere in Genesis.
RichardNJ
ParticipantSorry for being so confused. I'm using the Genesis Featured Posts widget and the Show Category Archive Link box is checked off and link text entered to read more posts from All Categories. So why wouldn't the show more link be appearing? Seems it should be.
RichardNJ
ParticipantHi,
Home-Top is showing the latest posts, not a specific category.
RichardNJ
ParticipantThanks so much Victor!

ParticipantThank you Brad. Have it figured out now!
