    Hello. I updated my website and changed themes from Daily Dish to Essence Pro. At the bottom of my article posts the tags used to appear before, however in Essence Pro there are no tags appearing. I've tried looking at different settings, but I haven't changed anything so can't figure out what is wrong. Can anyone give thoughts to how I might get the tags back at bottom of posts?

    Thanks for any assistance!

    The Essence Pro theme developers chose to remove the post meta details. So, when you changed the theme, the post meta went.

    If you want to restore it, edit functions.php and look for these line:

    // Removes the entry footer.
    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_post_meta' );
    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_entry_footer_markup_open', 5 );
    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_entry_footer_markup_close', 15 );

    Comment out or delete those lines and the post meta should return.

    Thank you Victor. So the developer clearly had reasoning to remove the post meta details... so this brings up another question. Does it serve a purpose to have them appear? Is it just a preference?
