I'm attempting to update as I do all plugins - through the Dashboard. This is the first time in about 11 years that I had a problem.
What version of PHP is on your system? I just upgraded to 7 or 7.2. Might that be a problem?

How do I find my way into the lib/functions/layout.php? I need a map.
AMEN! Well stated requests.
When can we expect to see version 220.127.116.11 with a Select Default Layout fix?
I looked through the thread and did not find an adequate solution. StudioPress should make their updates backward compatible. Not being able to control the content/sidebar relationship is inexcusable.
The latest Genesis upgrade caused the following problem.
No longer am I able to control the Select Default Layout format for individual blog posts. Within Genesis, I can select 100% content or a combination of content and sidebar. If I select 100% content, all my blog posts show 100% content. If I select ~75% content and ~25% sidebar, all blog posts follow this structure. It is all or none and individual blog control is gone - kaput.
Prior to the upgrade, I was able to control the content/sidebar relationship from blog post to blog post.
Anyone else having this problem. My Genesis Theme is the Minimum Pro Theme.
