I always recommend uploading images that are no larger than the max file dimensions used in the theme. They'll resize for mobile automatically, but you'll need a plugin like WP Smush to compress the files. If you're wanting to load a completely different image size on mobile, you'd need a plugin like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/adaptive-images/

It will allow you to choose how you want your posts to display, from the featured image size to whether or not to show an excerpt. Hope that helps!

.home .entry-title { display: none; }
to hide just the homepage title and not the other page titles.

Can you try putting something else in that spot - maybe just a text widget with a paragraph of dummy text - to see whether it adjusts appropriately?

Does your content/sidebar layout look like this one on the theme demo? http://demo.studiopress.com/parallax/content-sidebar/

If you go to SEO > Titles & Metas and click on the Taxonomies tab, you'll see the title settings for categories, tags, etc. I just checked and they do include the word "archives" by default so maybe that's where it's coming from?

I provide development and training services for designers • Find me on Twitter and Google+nutsandboltsMemberYour rules for .content-box-darkgray are missing a closing bracket at the end - that is keeping everything from that point forward from showing up correctly. Adding in the missing bracket should get it. Hope that helps!

There are quite a few resources out there for free themes, though most of them come from third party developers and not directly from StudioPress.
This list should get you started: http://elioverbey.net/top-37-free-genesis-child-themes-2014/

Once you do, a line will appear underneath that says "Limit content to ____ characters" and you can choose your limit. Most people choose somewhere between 300-500 depending on how much content you want to show, but you can choose any limit you'd like.

#menu-hauptmenue a img { margin-bottom: 0; }
That should allow the flag to align properly.
