    I am also in a bit of a quandary on this. I have several potential new clients ....waiting on a demo of Denali. They understand my reasoning for only supporting the Genesis Framework for now....but they are pretty insistent on a one page Parallax theme.

    I did purchase a copy of Jarvis to see what all the fuss was about. It has some very good points, but has also had a number of issues too. When the dev guy pushes out an update and does not take the time to even roll the version number in all the proper locations....makes me wonder how really meticulous he/she was with their code and where else I may run into issues?

    Yes, they do provide support....but it's not as detailed or expansive on what the SP folks provide. Also, a huge issue for me with this theme is no integration with GFORM.... in fact you have to hard code your Contact Form Info.... that is a big put-off, but so far my client really is leaning that way...this is not chump change were talking about..... I sure hope that Genesis comes up with something along this line pretty soon.

    I pretty much figured that was the case, however since Studio Press added the code to integrate GFORMS with the Theme, I thought someone surely would know how to make corrections for this without having to resort to modifying GFORM elements.

    As to the custom classes....in the case of the Submit Button there are none. I know what I need to modify....it's the default height of the padding around the button. I can see it's set to 232px with firebug and if I mod it to 100px that does the trick...but have no idea how to mod it in the theme style sheet. That ELEMENT is not there, only the combined div tags. a CSS whiz, ME IS NOT....

    Thanks

    OK, that's weird....must have been a CDN issue...... clearing cache again seems to have resolved this issue.

    But still seeing browser issues. Now in IE, I don't see the blank (Primary Sidebar Widget Area) but it is present in FF.... this cross browser stuff is a time suck...

    What if I want to add images to other pages and not just BG Color....I also would also like them to stretch like the BG image on the Home page.

    Ok, I figured this out...not sure why NO ONE at SP chimed in to assist here ??

    Everyone that had been using:

    href="#wrap"

    Just remove the wrap and leave "#" and all is well.

    div class="gototop">
        <p><a href="#" rel="nofollow">TOP OF PAGE</a></p>
    </div>

    Interesting that there are now several POSTS with this issue “return to top” link and NOT ONE of them have been addressed by anyone with HTML5 and GENESIS 2.0 expertise.

    I would think this a fairy easy fix. The old css structure was #wrap and its been changed to .site-container so I think this involves a Functions Call as well as modified HTML5 code to make it work again.

    How about it Dev Wizes ???

    I am still having this issue. Even contacted Akismet and they have been unable to resolve this. I sure wish there was a way to identify SP members and allows our comments to post. As of now every time I post it goes into SPAM ????

    I have had the exact same problem but using a different plug-in. I found that AgentPress 2.0 (Not updated in sometime) conflicts with the latest Genesis Base code.

    Genesis calls the latest version of superfish (1.9.2) while AP is calling for an older version (1.4.8) and thus both versions are loaded. Causing conflicts.

    </script>
    <script type='text/javascript' src='http://localhost/wordpress/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/js/menu/superfish.js?ver=1.4.8'></script>
    <script type='text/javascript' src='http://localhost/wordpress/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/js/menu/superfish.args.js?ver=1.9.2'></script>

    I am going to try loading the suprfish removal script to see if that clears up my problem but I don't want to remove the updated version, only the remnants left by AP.

    AP really needs an update for sure.

    July 29, 2013 at 9:05 am in reply to: Agent Press – css padding for pages NOT Home #53069

    Ok, figured it out. Colson I appreciate the pointer.

    I only needed to add (2) additional lines of code similar to what you suggested.

        /*added (3) lines of code starting at Line 899*/
        .page #content-sidebar-wrap {
            padding-left: 15px;
            padding-top: 10px;
        }

    That has resolved the issue for me nicely.

    Thanks

    July 27, 2013 at 11:04 am in reply to: Agent Press – css padding for pages NOT Home #52828

    I did just that and did not observe any changes at all to any of the pages, home or inner. This Agent Press set up is a bit confusing for sure.

    The only way I am able to affect a change to the spacing / padding on the sidebars is to add it here:

    /* Content-Sidebar Wrap
    ------------------------------------------------------------ */
    .content-sidebar #content-sidebar-wrap,
    .full-width-content #content-sidebar-wrap,
    .sidebar-content #content-sidebar-wrap {
    	width: 920px;
           padding-left: 15px;
           padding-top: 10px;

    Now take a look and you can see what I am talking about. The Blog and other Internal Pages now have good
    spacing on the sidebar but the now the Home Page has been affected.

    Anyone else have a suggestion ??

    Thanks

    February 5, 2013 at 11:53 pm in reply to: Conditional Removal of Author on post/page #18385
    SMB-dev
    Member

    This is a sticky one: I have tried multiple combinations of:

    But cannot get the Author Name removed from just the (jobs) posting pages using any type of conditional statement

    ! in_category( 'jobs' ) )

    if ( !is_page(4) ) {

    !is_single( array( 4, 'jobs' ) )

    is_single( 'jobs' )

    If I use the remove_action - NP it removes all the data from all posts (not what I wanted)

    I settled on using:

    ** Customize the post info function */

    add_filter( 'genesis_post_info', 'post_info_filter' );

    function post_info_filter($post_info) {

    $post_info = '[post_date][post_comments]';

    return $post_info;

    }

    This way I just removed the names from the top of the Posts and it looks like this retains the count for Archives and retains the Author Box at the bottom of each article. So I think this will work ok.

    It's still perplexing me as to why I could not remove just the Author Name from the jobs posts ?

    The issue is identifying the Job / Posts...they are not listed anywhere but in the DB. They do not display in the Admin Posts section so I am not sure of the actual post slug id's other than the jobs/xxxxxxx

    This is where the data is coming from:

    <div class="post-9900 jobman_job type-jobman_job status-publish hentry entry">

    <strong>I very much appreciate your assistance<strong>

    Thanks

    Yes. We have several Recruiters that will be entering jobs data & we don't want the names to show for the job posting. We do want it on Blog Posts though.

    It appears that all the links are broken from the old forum too: http://www.studiopress.com/support/showthread.php?t=96369

    I get 404 errors when attempting access any of the data from this post....where has it gone ?
