Hi,
Starting a new thread because there are a number of threads going around with people having problems but seems no one from Studiopress is giving clear answers or getting out there to fix these problems. I hope someone will respond to this post with solutions.
There are a number of issues coming up with the functionality of AgentPress.
- Listings pages - can't change the number of listings showing up on the Listings page. Default is set to 10 but as they are 3 to a row this means there is an orphan on a row to itself (see here - http://www.castles.ie/listings/)
- Search Functions - the theme and plugin provides for search functions. These are particularly prominent on the front page (http://www.castles.ie/). But, THEY DO NOT WORK. Search for anything and it just shows ALL LISTINGS. This is a severe problem with the theme and fails to work as advertised.
Hope someone can help asap - I need this working for my company ASAP.
Thanks very much!

1. Is a real problem, but at least you have managed to come up with a solution to have additional properties showing on another page. If you could share how you managed that, it would be appreciated.
2. Now I am no expert, far from it (my site is a work in progress at the moment, http://www.gunnrollo.co.uk) but it seems that you haven't selected the property types when you have been creating the listings? When I create a new listing on the right hand side are all the tick boxes, location, price, property type etc. Have you ticked the appropriate ones? If they are not appearing there I am guessing it will be with the way the taxonomies are set up. This was really helpful for me and it seems to be working http://my.studiopress.com/setup/agentpress-theme/#terms
3. Not wanting the highjack the thread but the other thing I'd like the creators of Agentpress to address is the property search drop down boxes and the fact that things do not appear in order:
Example, locations just appear in latest listing put up, not alphabetical, price is all over the place, bedroom numbers out of order etc.
4. For featured listings, is there a way of CHOOSING which properties that appear as featured, or is it just the latest ones added?
Cheers, Dave
June 8, 2013 at 4:54 pm #44828daverolloMemberTanksquire I have figured #1 out for a temporary fix.
From your Dashboard got to Settings and then Reading.
The selection box;
Blog pages show at most
postsSelect how many you want to appear on a page. 9, 12, 15 etc
June 10, 2013 at 7:59 am #45021tanksquireMemberDaverollo - thanks for that, that solved my paging problem.
Still the problem with the search. Yes I have filled in all my taxonomies appropriately. Still doesn't work. Think there is a fundamental problem with it. Can anyone from Studiopress help??
Thanks in advance.
