I've tried changing the height and width in functions.php and then changing the code in header.image.site.title to the same min height, but it is still cropping it horizontally. Any ideas?
My logo is 400 x 165
magzparmenterMemberOK, great, thanks 🙂 Will make sure to make a copy on my local system then.
magzparmenterMemberI did try the 3 widget method, but the widgets were completely out of alignment (both between the widgets and the height) which means more changes to padding and margins, which I'm really not too sure about.
magzparmenterMemberWould that code be in addition to what's already there, or replacing?
Currently this is the Content section of my stylesheet. I also do have Simple Hooks if that would help in any way?

}magzparmenterMemberHi,
Thanks for your reply.
That would be an option except then, wouldn't it only pull from 3 categories at a time? I would need to keep going in and changing them so it would display the most recent from all categories?magzparmenterMemberAnyone have any ideas on this?
magzparmenterMemberThank you, that worked! 🙂
magzparmenterMemberCurrently, this is in my Home section of stylesheet.
I suspect something isn't right, but I don't know what..mpp-home .content .featuredpage:nth-of-type(3n+3),
.mpp-home .content .featuredpost .entry:nth-of-type(3n+3) {
margin-right: 0;
}.mpp-home .content .featuredpage:nth-of-type(3n+1),
.mpp-home .content .featuredpost .entry:nth-of-type(3n+1) {
margin-right: 0;
}magzparmenterMemberI just tried to add the code at the bottom of my stylesheet and it didn't change anything on my site.
🙁
magzparmenterMemberThank you genwrock.
That looks a lot more straight forward than some of the other posts I've seen,I just have two questions:
1. Do I need to specify the thumbnail sizes as in the tutorial (Isnt it already set in the theme?)
2. If I add this code, will it also affect the featured posts widget in the Home-portfolio section which is currently working? (In that section, I have a featured pages widget as well as a featured posts and I need them to display inline 3 in a row.)magzparmenterMemberI only have one widget in the area (featured posts) but they are vertical instead of horizontal.
Not sure what to do.
I don't have the same code, mine says (3n+1) etc.magzparmenterMemberI'm not sure if this is the full solution, but I think you need to change the size in your stylesheet too.
Should be under Title Area
something like this:
.header-image .site-title a {
float: left;
min-height: 165px;
width: 400px;
}magzparmenterMemberI am having this problem too, but only in the widget in the home-blog section of my site.
I've been struggling with this for a few days now, so any help would be SOOO appreciated! 🙂
Thanks,
MagzmagzparmenterMemberCan anyone help with this?
I'm pretty sure it's a margin or padding issue but I just don't know where to make the changes.My site is also cutting off on the left side on ipad and iPhone is not responsive.
Thanks,

Thanks I'll have a look.
Have managed it but now the site is getting cut off on the left side on ipad, and iPhone is a mess!
Also, featured posts in blog section are displaying vertically.Any thoughts on either?
magzparmenterMemberBizarrely, since enabling it, it fixed my initial problem, but for some reason, the post titles in the blog section are now underlined!
Can't seem to find where to change it in css either.Oh the joys of customising...LOL
:-0
magzparmenterMemberI actually found that when I googled the problem, but when I search for it in Plugins, I can't find it to enable it.
🙁EDITED-
Found it! had to search for the whole name instead of just genesis featured widget...Hoping it will work 🙂

magzparmenterMemberHi
I'm hoping you might be able to help me too.
I'm on Modern Portfolio theme and having trouble with my logo image cutting off and not re-sizing on iPad portrait and iPhone. Also, the menu at the top is not displaying properly on iPhone.I am a complete newbie at working with responsive themes, so really appreciate if you could walk me through the actual code I need and where.
Also, if you get a chance, could you look at my post about column classes, I have been struggling with it for the last day and a half.
My site is http://chasingholy.co.uk
Thanks so much!
MagzmagzparmenterMemberCan anyone help with this?
