Thanks again. I'll check them out.
BTW, I asked a few of my friends in the US to see if my site loads and it did for three of them.
Hopefully it was just a glitch for you. But I'll keep checking it every now and then.
magzparmenterMemberI will check that out. It hasn't been a problem for the last year.
Thanks for letting me know.In the mean time...my quest for my inline widgets continues! 😉
magzparmenterMemberI'm not sure what you mean.
The site has been live for a long time, I'm just redesigning it with a new theme.magzparmenterMemberAh, I think the problem is that I am not wanting these in a page, but in the portfolio area on the homepage.
I am now concerned that you can't load my site now though! Any idea why that might be? I can see it on my tablet, phone and desktop.magzparmenterMemberI use Firebug.
The current widgets are in the Portfolio area of the site. Do I need to move them?
They are Genesis featured page and Genesis featured post widgets.I am still not sure how to actually shortcode them (where do I put the do_widget shortcode?)
magzparmenterMemberI tried to decativate plugins and there is no conflict.
Am trying the shortcode plugin but am struggling a bit to figure out how to use it.
magzparmenterMemberOh! Lol!
I thought I'd be doing something in CSS or functions.phpThanks for your help.
Let's hope one of them works!
magzparmenterMemberThanks, I'll try those and see how it goes.
Just one question- what did you mean by text and not visual editor?magzparmenterMemberHi Kelly,
Thanks for your help. I already tried that plugin and it didn't work so I'm really stuck.
I'll enable it again and anyone can feel free to have a look what might be going wrong. Thanks again.
magzparmenterMemberCan anyone help with this, please?
magzparmenterMemberCan anyone help with this?
I am looking for something like http://www.sarahmarkley.comThanks so much.
magzparmenterMemberThanks for your help.
Still playing around with that one.One other question- in the Portfolio section-
I would like my About page on the left, a Feature category in the middle, and a Blog post on the right.
Currently, they are showing one on top of the other. How do I get them to display next to each other all on one line?
September 11, 2013 at 5:35 am in reply to: Move Secondary Nav Menu Under Slider- Agency Theme #61882magzparmenterMemberOr alternatively, how could I just remove secondary nav from the homepage?
September 11, 2013 at 5:16 am in reply to: Move Secondary Nav Menu Under Slider- Agency Theme #61878magzparmenterMemberI used
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_subnav' );
add_action( 'genesis_before_content', 'genesis_do_subnav' );That works, but it puts it within the white content area, and I'd like it above that directly under the slider.
What code would do that?
magzparmenterMemberAnyone?
magzparmenterMemberHi Robin,
Thanks so much, I can't believe I forgot to resize them! Such a schoolboy error!
Lol.Thanks again for replying so quickly. 🙂
magzparmenterMemberActually, if anyone can help me out.
I used Robin's method, but when I look at it on my phone or tablet, the images are not resized and not showing in a row. They are huge and taking up nearly the whole screen each.
Help???
Magz
magzparmenterMemberThank you to both of you.
I have never worked with column classes before, so could you walk me through exactly what and where to code?
Thanks so much!
Edited: I've figured out how to do it 🙂
