You should be able to do it pretty easily with CSS. In your stylesheet at line 1105, .entry-categories and .entry-tags are set to display: block; so they go to 100% width. If you remove that, then you can add a new declaration for .entry-tags { float: right; } and they should behave as you want.
I would play around with it in Chrome's Developer Tools or Firebug--it may go wonky on you if you have many tags or categories assigned to one post, so you may need to set a max width on either or both spans. HTH

RobinMemberYour stylesheet has all inputs styled to be 100% width. You can target this one a bit, I think, without affecting other buttons you may have around your site. I would try adding this to your stylesheet:
input[type="image"] { width: auto; margin: 0 auto; /* add this line and the display line if you want it centered */ display: block; }
Usually fiddling around with Chrome's Developer Tools or Firebug in Firefox can help identify this kind of thing.

RobinMemberIt looks like you've gotten this sorted--is this correct? If you're still seeing the problem, what browser/OS are you using? I've checked in several browsers and it looks good to me.

RobinMemberDid you try adding the font-size and border-radius directly to your stylesheet? That should force it to do what you want and should override the plugin settings.

RobinMemberIn the source code I see that you're running WP Super Cache--does that have a setting to clear out the cache? My guess is that's what is preventing the icons from updating.
Otherwise you could try editing your style.css for
.home-featured .simple-social-icons ul li a
, which is line 455, to show this instead:.home-featured .simple-social-icons ul li a { padding: 40px !important; font-size: 50px !important; border-radius: 100px !important; }
It should override whatever other settings are not happening correctly. However, that won't update on the live site unless the cache is refreshed, so you would be at the same point. HTH

RobinMemberIt does not appear that you have the icon size and icon border radius both set to 100 on the live site. HTH

RobinMemberThis question intrigued me and I didn't see an immediate answer when I googled, so I played with it a bit and came up with this snippet: conditionally replace primary navigaion on the front page.
I don't know if it's the absolute best way, but it did work for me. It's basically duplicating the
genesis_do_nav
function because of the markup and styling, but you do have to add the name of your custom menu on line 27.Also the gist presupposes your primary navigation is in
genesis_before_header
because that's where mine is, but if yours is ingenesis_after_header
, then you'd replace that throughout. HTH

RobinMemberAccording to the theme setup instructions, the navigation locations are disabled for this theme and you are supposed to use a custom menu widget in the header right widget area.
For your social icons, they are not cut off for me. The click me widget is just a text widget for now and looks like it needs some styling, but it appears to be behaving as styled. I would suggest using Chrome's Developer Tools or Firebug in Firefox to mess around with styling. HTH

RobinMemberI haven't used Centric, but you can move your primary navigation so that it is before the header (it will be outside of the header area completely).
How that will work with the shrinking header is another question, so you may be looking at some work with that. HTH

June 23, 2014 at 1:21 pm in reply to: Titles show for posts using post formats when adding HTML5 to Mindstream #111209RobinMemberHTML5 uses different hooks than XHTML, so you need to find this section in your functions.php:
function mindstream_remove_elements() { // Remove if post has format if ( get_post_format() ) { remove_action( 'genesis_post_title', 'genesis_do_post_title' ); remove_action( 'genesis_before_post_content', 'genesis_post_info' ); remove_action( 'genesis_after_post_content', 'genesis_post_meta' ); } // Add back, as post has no format else { add_action( 'genesis_post_title', 'genesis_do_post_title' ); add_action( 'genesis_before_post_content', 'genesis_post_info' ); add_action( 'genesis_after_post_content', 'genesis_post_meta' ); } }
Here's the code for the new hooks in the entry header, and here's for the entry footer. HTH

June 23, 2014 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Create an archive page just for tags and one just for categories #111206RobinMemberI don't know if this is the definitive way to do it, but I needed something similar on a recent client project and found a way to do it by creating a new page template and using a custom field or two. I blogged the code and tutorial on how to create a taxonomy page on my site. Hope you find it useful--

RobinMemberIf you use firebug to inspect the first article in the second row, you'll see that it's got this styling:
.archive .content .listing:nth-of-type(3n+1), .full-width .featured-listings .listing:nth-of-type(3n+1), .full-width .featuredpage:nth-of-type(4n+1), .full-width .featuredpost .entry:nth-of-type(3n+1) { clear: both; margin-left: 0; }
It's the
3n+1
on the last selector that's affecting the home page widgets, saying that the fourth one should start a new row. You can change that to be4n+1
for four in a row or5n+1
for five in a row. Assume that there is a percentage width which would also need to be adjusted accordingly. HTH

RobinMemberThe parallax is actually already disabled for mobile in that theme--it only runs on non-mobile devices. I looked on both my laptop and phone and think you just have CSS work that needs to be done on the mobile media queries (eg, it may be as easy as removing
background-attachment: scroll;
on line 1811?).Making videos responsive requires a bit more work, but is doable. Think there is a plugin called FitVids that works well; my preference is a script called FluidVids.

RobinMemberIt's a Jetpack module called Gravatar Hovercards. Go into Jetpack Settings and disable that module and you should be good to go. HTH

RobinMemberI can guess at the problem, but not sure how to tell you to fix it. IE tends to be less forgiving of unclosed div tags than the other browsers, so one things it's great for is finding those.
What I see when I inspect the code on your site in IE is that inside your content-sidebar-wrap, your <main class="content"> is opening and closing immediately (plus seems to be wrapped in a <p> tag). Then your actual content is outside of this area altogether, which is why it's not taking on the .content width.
Have you edited any template files? If you have, check through those carefully, especially any edits you've done with the header or navigation areas. If not, I would carefully check all of your text widgets for unclosed tags. If it's in a widget (probably one of the header widgets), you could quickly narrow down which one by removing them and seeing if the page sorts itself out (I would log into the site in IE and use the new Customizer, so you can play with the widgets without affecting the site itself).

RobinMemberIf you add a margin to the top of your .sidebar (line 1645 of your stylesheet), you can bring it down. 40px would be in line with the content area; 100px would be more in line with the image. You would probably then need to do some further tweaking in your media queries. If you use Firefox, Firebug is a great tool for experimenting with CSS; if you use Chrome, try Chrome's Developer Tools. HTH

RobinMemberMinimum Pro reduces the secondary navigation to one level--look in the functions file for
add_filter( 'wp_nav_menu_args', 'minimum_secondary_menu_args' );
... if you remove that filter, you should have dropdowns. HTH

RobinMemberLook in your theme's home.php file. The function
corporate_home_genesis_meta
has a line to force the home page to full width if any of the home page widget areas have a widget in them. You can remove or comment out the relevant line (14) and see if that does what you need, but you may need to adjust some CSS as well.Line 14:
add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' );
Corporate is not a theme I've worked with before, so I don't know what changing to a content-sidebar layout will do to the widgetized home page. HTH

RobinMemberHey Sinoun, because the video is not the only thing in the home middle section, I think you'll have to target that specific widget. I'd do:
#text-4 { background: none; }
Alternatively, instead of
#text-4
, you could use.agency-pro-home .content .home-middle .widget_text
, which would cover you for future text widgets in the same area (meaning they also would have no background).If you are curious, right now that block is picking up the style from line 1055. HTH
