I never got a clear answer re: XHTML vs HTML5 from Studiopress.

Yep, changed them all to .subnav and no luck. (css and the js file)...guess I'l try .menu-bottom-navigation.

That was the first thing I tried...swapping for .subnav....didn't try .menu-bottom-navigation, though, so I'll try those.

That was my first thought, though because I didn't have .nav-secondary anywhere in my theme that it wouldn't work.

I fixed the name of the js file back to stick-nav-sub.js (don't how I missed that one!)...but bummer, it's still not working. Grr.

(So, I left functions.php calling /js/sticky-nav-sub.js)

Yeah, position fixed isn't really idea for the navigation under the header to be sticky only....I'd want it to scroll until it reaches the top of the page and then stop.

Thanks @Nutandbolts. I actually did that tutorial as well and commented there too (in moderation) because it also wasn't working for me.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I know my navigation is sub-nav instead of nav-secondary, so I replaced all of those occurrences, but it still wasn't sticky.

Turns out, with Lifestyle, since you use widgets, you have to use Genesis Featured Amplified widget with pagination turned on and it works.

But, the hook would work, too.

I would use is_single() for the post, but I'm not sure how to incorporate the in_category() part with it.

I looked at the plugin, too and that should work. I guess I wanted to figure out the php part.
