For the sake of putting a solution on this thread… I ended up exporting my data from WordPress/Tools/Export and Genesis/Export in two separate files, then got with my support team at GVO to have them wipe out WordPress and put a brand-new installation there. I then proceeded to reinstall Genesis and the plug-ins one by one. What I found was that the Genesis Easy Columns plug-in was also a culprit of disturbing the PC browser perspective. Once disabling it, the site viewed normally again... which performed differently with a new WP installation vs the old corrupt version.

I want to thank everyone for your assistance in finding the errors on the site.

One word of caution... the Import plugin in the new WP platform does not import graphic images. I did copy the graphic folders in the "upload" directory to the new location and the images do show on on the blog, due to the path being correct; however, they are not showing up in the Media Library. Still need to figure that one out. Apparently this has been a problem for over 3 years now as I found on several forums when I googled info on it.

Yes Anatia... purchased directly from StudioPress.

Ah... ok, I'll look into the Export features. Thank you again for your assistance... both of you! You have been a blessing!

Yes, both are GVO... SLF is directly in the root of public. They have been structured this way for over two years.

I use to run Optimize Press 1.6... then upgraded to the newer 2.0. Then I found out about Genesis las week and went with that theme. Also, before 2.0 I had my site at GoDaddy then moved it over to GVO. Also, remember that my other site is doing the same thing. randallrussell.com/slf

Forgive my ignorance Dave... but how can you tell what plugins I have and if they are active or not? Thx again for you both digging in and trying to fix this issue.

Hello there, sorry, didn't see that I was getting a response. Yes, I reactivated the plugins earlier after discovering that the issue still remained even after I deactivated them. As of this time, I've deactivated all plugins on both sites.

No luck yet on correcting this issue!

Hello Dave and Tom... thank you for checking it out for me. As for the header script section in Genesis/Theme settings, I haven't put anything in there. Also, like Anitac has mentioned, I've also disabled all plugins and still rendered the same outcome on a PC. Oddly enough, I also have another blog on the same domain where I too installed the Genesis/MetroPro theme and it's doing the same thing. http://RandallRussell.com/slf Orange on PCs yet blue (Correct color) on my Mac and iPhone.

I've logged a support ticket... and I can't imagine that I'm the only one experiencing this issue? I wonder if it's some sort of server setting... where my site is hosted? GVO http://gogvo.com I've checked with the support them there and they say to check with the theme developer. It's a mystery! As for digging into the code for the <div> in the <head> section... not sure where to even begin to look for that. I would assume some .php file?

Yes... all is up to date... I just purchased Genesis and MetroPro last week.

Ok, now all plugins are inactive... cleared my PC chrome cache/history from the beginning of time and it's still displaying incorrectly. It's obviously something w/in the theme/child? What a bizarre problem!

Thus lies the problem... blue is the correct color. This is what I see on my Mac: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3729qts4p40smgw/Screenshot%202014-04-02%2017.33.15.png

But PCs are appearing orange as well as an improper layout. Widgets should be on the right... also, here is what IE10 in compatibility mode is doing... fullscreen widgets w/no content: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pfo4mkdch1z5ov2/IE10-Compatibility-Mode.PNG

hmmm... it has always been blue, or correct on my iPhone as well. I never mess with code in fear of messing something up 🙂

Ok, plugin is now deactivated. I've tried it "disabled" and now "deactivated" on my PC side with no luck. Even after clearing the browser cache.

First, thank you for your quick response and assistance. I'm using the "Lite" version. I had also recently (last week) changed from WP SuperCache... but didn't actually notice the difference until now.

As for your suggestion, I had tried that earlier today with no luck. I've cleared QCache on the server, as well as cleared the cache on the PC browser with no luck. Do you use a Caching plugin? If so which one? Thx
