Thank you Victor and Carasmo,
I was able to correct the nav menu using your suggestion Carasmo:
*display: inline;
zoom: 1;There are still other minor issues when viewing with the old IE browsers, but like you both have said we can only do so much to accommodate them!
Appreciate your help with this!
JenniferjenniferhMemberHi Victor,
Thanks for your help with this! Yes, I will work this via ftp and keep a backup of the original functions.php.
I'm trying to pinpoint the css correction that I need to make for IE (specifically Windows XP/IE 6 & 7). I'm using Browserstack emulator to test it and the big problem is with the main navigation menu dropping down vertical rather than horizontally as it should be.
I believe the issue is with this class below, but I can't figure out how to correct it for IE:
.genesis-nav-menu .menu-item {
display: inline-block;
margin: 0;
text-align: left;
}Can you suggest a css modification to correct this issue?

jenniferhMemberHi Tom,
Thanks so much for your help with this! Your CSS modifications worked nicely. I'll work on the media queries a little later.
Cheers,

I want to move the arrows up so they are sitting on top of the image. Similar to this example:

Can you give me a little more detail on how to comment out the selector?

Thanks Tom, appreciate the help!
jenniferhMemberYes, the typo was causing the strikethrough text. Amazing what one little character out of place can do!
Thanks you two for your sharp eyes and quick response, much appreciated!

jenniferhMemberI'm trying to customize the size of logo/header in my site using the same technique. I added the following code to the functions.php:
add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array( 'width' => 471, 'height' => 150 ) );
/**
* @author Brad Dalton - WP Sites
* @example http://wp.me/p1lTu0-9LE
*/Then added some custom css:
.header-image .site-title > a {
background-position: center !important;
background-size: contain !important;
display: block;
height: 150px;
margin: 0 auto;
max-width: 471px;
}When I try to load the new logo it still wants to crop it to the default size (400 x 80). Cleared the cache, same results. Any suggestions?
jenniferhMemberAh, I see what you mean. I'll give that a try, thanks!

jenniferhMemberHi John,
http://www.darringforjudge.com/
I used your tutorial on replacing the background header image with a real image logo and it's working responsively very well (thank you very much)! Although, the header at full screen view is much smaller than it should be (should be 1080 px, full width).
It seems to be conflicting with the #header .widget-area where we have the "contribute" button. I tried adjusting the width of that class to be able to enlarge the header some, but it's connected to the sidebar which I don't want to modify.
Any suggestions on how to retain my full width header, and the header widget image, and the responsiveness!?
Much appreciated,
Jennifer -
