I'm getting strikethrough text only on the homepage of the website. Displays normally on other pages. Happens on multiple browsers.

I'm using a text widget for the homepage middle section and footer widgets for the footer section.

Any ideas why it would display as strikethrough?

    Thanks,
    Jennifer

The text is wrapped in an s tag. It is a strange s tag because it looks like it is supposed to be a strong tag. It appears like this <s trong>whatever</s>. See w3schools for information about the s tag.

    Hi,
Looks like a typo in the widget text. There is a space in the word as in <s trong>, so it is reading it as a strikethrough.

<s trong> is designed to provide a clean, convenient stop for class A motor homes traveling through the Houston area for sporting events, medical treatment & a break from the road.

If you’re seeking a quiet, gated and secure, country-like environment with superior amenities at affordable rates, then Fire Lake RV Park is the place for you.</s>

Check over the inserted text for any hidden characters, especially if you had cut and pasted it from somewhere else. I usually paste my content in a plain text editor first, then recopy it and paste it in the text widget.

    Hope that helps.

Yes, the typo was causing the strikethrough text. Amazing what one little character out of place can do!

Thanks you two for your sharp eyes and quick response, much appreciated!
