    I'd like to move or reposition the directional arrows in the genesis responsive slider on the homepage. Instead of the default position in the excerpt, I would like to move them to be positioned on top of the images, the left arrow on the left side of the image, the right arrow on the right side of the image.

    Any CSS suggestions for achieving this?

    Appreciate the help,
    Jennifer

    Open styles.css , find

    `.flex-direction-nav li a

    comment out the whole selector

    Thanks for your suggestion, but I'm not sure exactly how to do that. I have multiple selectors that include .flex-direction-nav li a

    Can you give me a little more detail on how to comment out the selector?

    The code I referred to is not your style as I thought, it is in in the genesis slider css which is loaded after your main style.css.

    Try this in your style.css

    #genesis-responsive-slider .flex-direction-nav li a {display:none}

    Yes, that's the correct selector, but display: none makes the arrows disappear altogether... not what I'm trying to achieve. I want to move the arrows up so they are sitting on top of the image. Similar to this example:

    Have you tried to go to your dashboard under Genesis / Slider Settings and unselecting the Display Next / Previous Arrows in Slider? then saving the settings.

    That worked for me.
