Hey Victor! Thanks so much for that, worked like a charm:-).
I had no clue about the superfish menu. Will look into it more.
Thanks again, you're the man!

NateMemberHey Victor,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, it's loading now, but I'm using the
get_header
hook, as it was not loading when I used thewp_enqueue_scripts
hook. I'd rather use thewp_enqueue_scripts
hook, as I think that's best practice.Thanks!

December 10, 2015 at 9:05 am in reply to: Wanting to remove Genesis options from user profile #173427NateMemberThank you for this! I'd been looking at everything for an hour and had no idea what I was doing wrong. Didn't know I needed to wrap this in a function at
admin-init
.Thank you Tasch!
There were some formatting issues, so I've re-posted the same code here, with my fixes from ` to ':
add_action( 'admin_init', 'custom_remove_user_profile_fields' ); function custom_remove_user_profile_fields(){ remove_action( 'show_user_profile', 'genesis_user_options_fields' ); remove_action( 'edit_user_profile', 'genesis_user_options_fields' ); remove_action( 'show_user_profile', 'genesis_user_archive_fields' ); remove_action( 'edit_user_profile', 'genesis_user_archive_fields' ); remove_action( 'show_user_profile', 'genesis_user_seo_fields' ); remove_action( 'edit_user_profile', 'genesis_user_seo_fields' ); remove_action( 'show_user_profile', 'genesis_user_layout_fields' ); remove_action( 'edit_user_profile', 'genesis_user_layout_fields' ); }

NateMemberHey again! The site is up (it's ugly, but I'm not done:-)).
I've tried re-arranging some of the hooks as well, but it looked bad. We'll try again tomorrow:-).
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

NateMemberHey everyone!
I'm trying to do a very similar thing. Is this with the Home-Featured widget? I've gone through this string about three times, and cannot get it to work.
I'm deveoping locally, but will move the site to live later today at ecckdev.finchproservices.com .
Any help would be great!
Nate

NateMemberHey Ginger, just wanted to say thanks for the help on this one!:-)

NateMemberHey Decarn:
You can customize the words in the following:
//* Customize search form input box text add_filter( 'genesis_search_text', 'magazine_search_text' ); function magazine_search_text( $text ) { return esc_attr( __( 'Search Groove ...', 'magazine' ) ); }
This should actually be in the Magazine Pro theme file.
For customizing colors and the like, I usually just "inspect element" on the Chrome browser and add those properties to the style.css file.
This I know this is a few months late, but just in case it's still helpful to you and others 🙂

March 17, 2015 at 6:16 pm in reply to: Strange Picture Disappearances on Cafe and Altitude Pro #144789NateMemberHey Tom! Yeah, if remove the pictures in the customizer, and then select an image to display, nothing happens:
Here's a video: http://screencast.com/t/PUe1WQzPM
I've duplicated these sites from other sites. But it's only affecting the paralax sites.

NateMemberHaha, just now coming back to this. I don't know what I did a couple months ago, but I just tried it again and it worked like a charm.
SO happy right now. Hope y'all have been well:-).
Thanks (and thanks Stewart!)

NateMemberHi all,
Christine, I'm with you on the Wannabe part of this:-). Just...getting...started...
I just followed Stewart's tutorial (which is awesome) and... now what? I'm not sure how to display this at all. It's in the proper place in the child theme file, I've copied everything twice in all three files as is, and I've even got all the new widgets showing up in the widget section of the WP backend.
I thought it would be in Pages, or that I would pick this as the static page in Settings>>Reading.
What am I missing?
Thanks so much. I'll probably write Stewart too, but just wanted to say thanks as well for finding this.
