    Hi,

    I can't seem to find the tutorial to insert the search box in the primary menu like the one in the show case.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Thanks braddalton. Do you have any tutorials in customizing the search box? E.g. color, words.

    Hey Decarn:

    You can customize the words in the following:

    //* Customize search form input box text
    add_filter( 'genesis_search_text', 'magazine_search_text' );
    function magazine_search_text( $text ) {

    	return esc_attr( __( 'Search Groove ...', 'magazine' ) );

    }

    This should actually be in the Magazine Pro theme file.

    For customizing colors and the like, I usually just "inspect element" on the Chrome browser and add those properties to the style.css file.

    This I know this is a few months late, but just in case it's still helpful to you and others 🙂

    Just getting started in this brave new Genesis world… Thanks in advance for all help:-).
