ParticipantI tried that.
Removed:
.button:before {
border-top-width: 0;
border-bottom-color: #000;
top: -5px;
}.button:after {
border-bottom-width: 0;
border-top-color: #000;
bottom: -5px;
}But it did not remove the cut corners.

ParticipantSeems to have resolved as if it were a caching issue. I was using incognito, though. ODD!

ParticipantAh, that's it! Thanks a million for pointing that out. I swear I get blind after a while and don't see what's in front of me 🙂
I appreciate the help!

ParticipantHaving full posts in search results makes reading those result pretty unbearable.
Example:
http://www.studiopress.community/search/adjust+page+width/I suspect results like this lead to many repeat questions being posted. Honestly, I don't blame anyone for not wanting to try to scroll through that in order to find an answer already posted.

ParticipantFlushed cache?
Do you have Jetpack installed? If so, deactivate and also flush cache again.August 2, 2016 at 7:27 pm in reply to: Showcase Pro Theme – Front Page Hero Image not showing on front end #190667fandom
ParticipantAnything updated? Plugins? Server?

ParticipantI think it looks terrific. If anything, I would lighten the gradient on the main image. Also, hyperlink the credit to your company in the footer 🙂
Nicely done!

June 27, 2016 at 12:57 pm in reply to: Altitude Theme: Lessening the Overlay on Background Images #188404fandom
ParticipantAm I allowed to leave a link to the solution I used? If so, this is what I did to lessen the gradient overlay:
http://fandomwebdev.com/2016/06/12/studiopress-altitude-pro-gradient-overlay-fix/fandom
ParticipantResolved.
What I did:
Was:
.entry-title {
font: 48px;
}Changed to remove title:
/* Remove page titles. */
.entry-title {
display: none;
}And used http://www.studiopress.community/topic/altitude-pro-removing-the-title-underline-on-a-page/
to remove the line.fandom
ParticipantI went with this instead.
How to set up site title on homepage and logo on inner pages in Altitude Pro
Still not displaying title on main page and logo on others, but I'm working on it.
I'll mark as resolved since I went with other directions.
Thank you!
fandom
ParticipantSorry about that. I ended up shortcutting it with a plugin.
Thank you.

ParticipantWhile I'm not going to use it for this site, thank you for that observation. I'm sure it'll come in handy in the future!
June 16, 2016 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Altitude Pro larger sticky header area including above header menu #187706fandom
ParticipantFrom: https://my.studiopress.com/setup/altitude-pro-theme/customize-your-settings/navigation-menus/
You are here: My StudioPress / Setup / Altitude Pro Theme / Navigation Menus
Navigation MenusThe Altitude Pro theme includes three menu locations:
1. The Before Header Menu displays above the site header at the very top of the site with menu items aligned to the left. This menu location is not used in the theme demo.
2. The Header Menu displays in the site header next to the site title or header image.-----
I made The Header Menu sticky and the scroll version (smaller, darker, as per https://www.christophherr.com/how-to-use-the-darker-site-header-in-altitude-pro-by-default/)I'd like to add: 1. The Before Header Menu
And I have done so, but it's not displaying. See: http://elevator2.fandomwebdev.com
Once I get it working, then I'll look at color and size customizations. So the only issue right now is getting 1. The Before Header Menu to work.
I wonder if doing this: https://www.christophherr.com/how-to-use-the-darker-site-header-in-altitude-pro-by-default/
Makes it not possible for the The Before Header Menu to display? -
