Thanks, Brad. Certainly wasn't trying to jump in the middle of your answer, but just wanted to reply since I realized I had not responded before when I should have! π

The code snippets that Brad gave you are to be added. The first code would go in your functions.php (and it is listed in the code snippets, http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-meta/), as Brad mentioned, or the second can be added to your style.css.

Erin UlrichParticipantI'm sorry, but I was unable to view your site.

Erin UlrichParticipantIt looks like you decided to go with a logo rather than the site title as text. So is this issue resolved? Let me know if you still need help.

Erin UlrichParticipantI just took a look at your links, and it looks like you've chosen to merge the sites and have a theme. Is this issue resolved then?

Erin UlrichParticipantIt's a bit hard to answer without a link to the site. I'm not exactly clear on whether you want to change the width of the entire .site-container (which is by default 1280px), or just the .site-inner (1140px). Either way there will be additional adjustments to .content, etc. Can you please post a link to your site?

Erin UlrichParticipant(Andrea, I had my answer all ready, then realized you just beat me to it. So I'm just adding mine to what you've already stated. π
I've experienced the same issue when using a logo image of exactly what the theme calls for (320px x 120px). So it does seem to be a bit of an issue, but at least it's an easy fix with adding the padding.
On another random note, it's fun to see a Help-Portrait site mentioned here. I do the website for the Allume Conference, and Help-Portrait was a sponsor this year. π

Erin UlrichParticipantI would personally get rid of the plugin. Rather than making the old Agency theme mobile responsive, my suggestion would be to install one of the updated child themes with HTML5 markup. That way your time is invested in updating the site and your mobile issue will be taken care of at the same time.

November 15, 2013 at 7:55 pm in reply to: Beautiful Theme – How to Customize "Latest Posts" section on home page? #73327Erin UlrichParticipantTo make the changes you're talking about, I would suggest creating a custom page template for the home page.

November 1, 2013 at 5:07 pm in reply to: Issue: This child theme requires its parent theme, Genesis #70412Erin UlrichParticipantI haven't seen the new Executive Pro installed without content yet, but I think that's right. The footer text does indicate that Executive Pro is the active theme.

November 1, 2013 at 4:52 pm in reply to: Issue: This child theme requires its parent theme, Genesis #70407Erin UlrichParticipantWell, it's possible that she did and it's not working. Just looking at the screenshots, I can see why it looks like something is wrong. π

November 1, 2013 at 4:42 pm in reply to: Issue: This child theme requires its parent theme, Genesis #70402Erin UlrichParticipantI may completely be missing something here, but when a child theme is activated, it always says "This child theme requires it's parent theme, Genesis." The screenshots above all look normal to me, as far as what it should say when a theme is properly installed.
Have you tried viewing the site? (Where it says "New Theme Activated : Visit site")?
(And if I am missing the point and sound like a dork, I'm sorry! π

Erin UlrichParticipantExecutive has a landing page template that can be selected for that particular page. This should achieve what you're looking for.

October 21, 2013 at 3:35 pm in reply to: Loginout link in footer does not work – Agency theme #68093Erin UlrichParticipantCheck your functions.php file to see if the footer has been modified there. The code snippets here may be helpful.
If you don't see any footer modifications in functions.php, your site might be running the Genesis Simple Edits or Simple Hooks plugin, either of which could also contain footer changes.

Erin UlrichParticipantWhat size is your browser window? It is showing up fine now on my 12" MacBook Pro. But if I shrink the width of my window, it does push the title down below the logo since the theme is responsive. Any chance that's what is happening for you?

Erin UlrichParticipantYes, I've found that to be true about their site as well! At least they are very helpful when we ask questions. Glad you worked it out!
