You whole site is out of whack, probably because of a css issue as I mentioned in your other post about your logo.

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantIt does not show correctly in Chrome, Firefox or Safari on Mac and it is a css issue.
You probably have an unclosed ; or curly bracket } somewhere in your css file, because even on a very wide screen I am seeing media queries for 961px and 1100px.

If you only want to hide it on certain pages, you will need to give those pages a custom body class e.g. hidden, then write in the css
.hidden .site-avatar{ display: none; }

Lynne emasai.comOctober 21, 2016 at 11:21 am in reply to: Possible to control width of columns based on browser/device width? #195165emasaiParticipantThe Column classes are already set in the style.css file. All you would have to do is change the width in percentage in the various media queries for the elements you want to stack. Here is a link to their documentation

Lynne emasai.comOctober 20, 2016 at 1:48 pm in reply to: Author Pro forcing black background on MailChimp signup form #195123emasaiParticipantThere is probably an error in the MailChimp form creation because the css is showing the following on line 246 in MC
#mc_embed_signup { background: #181c1e; clear: left; font: 14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; }
which is overriding the different background color declared on line 159 in MC
#mc_embed_signup { background: #fff; clear: left; font: 14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; }

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantThe image is in your uploads folder, so you should be able to go into Media > Library find your image and add your alt tag information there.

The menu is partially hiding the links anyway.
.wpmenucart-display-standard { width: 80%; float: right; margin-top: 10px; }
You may need to add !important but try without first.

Lynne emasai.comOctober 3, 2016 at 11:05 am in reply to: How to change the spacing between specific widgets in the sidebar in Minimum Pro #194173emasaiParticipantIf you are referring to the section under Popular Posts, the widgets all have the same bottom margin, but 2 of them are not capitalized which means the shorter one only occupies one line. Ideally all your titles should be either all uppercase or lowercase.

Lynne emasai.comSeptember 30, 2016 at 2:54 pm in reply to: Getting rid of big white space under primary nav menu – Parallax Pro #194043emasaiParticipantChange margin-top on .site-inner to 70px or 90px whichever you think looks best. This will not affect the home page which already has the margin-top set at 70px.

Lynne emasai.comSeptember 25, 2016 at 11:35 am in reply to: Using Eleven40. How do I get a mobile nav bar like the one on Studiopress.com? #193682emasaiParticipantThat's called a hamburger and is the universal sign for a responsive menu. Use a web inspector to find and copy the css from the Studiopress mobile version. You will have to modify several css tags in the media queries to achieve this.

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantThe lunch tray being cut off does not look like a design decision. If there was some visual separation between the bottom of the tray and the image below it might..., but that is not the case. So it just looks like you ran out of space. In fact both images look cut off, the tray at the bottom and the boy's face at the top which does not appear until you scroll.

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantHere is an isolated image of the school lunch tray. Canstockphoto have very reasonable rates $25 for 35 credits and most web images only need 2-3 credits.
I am not very familiar with Altitude Pro, but you could probably reduce the padding of the .flexible-widgets for the section that requires less height.
