Bought Premise on sale, particularly for digital sales and members areas. Trudging through the learning curve, tutorials are not so helpful and tech support is probably overwhelmed by the huge number of purchases, so still haven't had all of my questions answered.
The one disappointing discovery is that Premise isn't responsive, though hoping the Genesis Responsive Header plugin will help that out.

docmasMemberagency theme, but premise landing page, hence the lack of responsiveness, at least on my iphone and ipad.
docmasMemberlooks fine on your iPhone? horrible on my iPhone it gets cutoff at ""own your m" on the header. it's fine on my laptop
tested it on the copyblogger responsive page, gets cut off there too.

docmasMemberah, my bad. i'm using premise on that site but for commerce, so not homepage which is agency, so responsive, plus i'm using the responsive header plugin.
premise home landing page that's problematic is: http://ownyourmission.com
sorry,
adam
docmasMemberI bought Premise last week and was very upset to discover it wasn't responsive. I had assumed that it would be, as my main theme, Agency is. So far, tech support has only confirmed it's not responsive and there are no plugins available currently to change this. Asked them if/when they might make it responsive, no answer yet, will keep you posted.
I use Optimize Press, which also isn't responsive, though supposed to have a V2 out soon, that might be.

docmasMemberChris,
I figured most of it out, thanks. I changed the homepage to a Premise landing page, so it can't have menus, but easier to edit background, etc.
Problem with Premise is it's not responsive, so looks horrible on my cellphone and iPad, which is pad for business as so many use those tools. Not sure how to handle that, as it's a big flaw.
Thanks,
Adam
docmasMemberJust adding this because I forgot to check email response box.
docmasMembergood luck. trying to setup paypal and the url that premise is supposed to generate isn't there. and then the headers for agency are too big for the headers for premise landing pages, but not sure what size the landing pages are to resize them. hoping at least that they are responsive headers and not going to have to use the genesis header plugin with it. anyway, hoping it will be worth the $97, 28 days left to figure it out 🙂
docmasMemberthanks, that did the trick!
now if i can only get tech support to help me setup premise, i'll be in business. never buy anything on a friday, as you're on your own through the weekend 🙁
docmasMemberthanks, finally figured most of that out on my own by trial and error. however, now that i've got the gold menu, wondering how to make the menu font bold (or at least a thicker font) as seems very thin, want it more powerful.
thanks,
adam
docmasMemberdidn't put it down as didn't think it would matter, thought it was just an informational issue. my bad.
thanks,
adam
docmasMemberthanks, that makes sense, assuming same is true for Agency 2. self host or use youtube, though thinking of switching to S3, open to any good plugin suggestions there.
Adam
docmasMemberSusan, the plugin seems to be a global one, I only want to change the order in that one category page. Do you know if it can do that?
I'll check the tutorial though same question, global or localized?
Thanks,
Adam
docmasMemberi added the title toggler plugin to do the same thing on my agency blog:
it works, yet not sure if the added plugin slows down loading or just changes the php once for each page.

but think that's just this page, not sure.
January 13, 2013 at 5:45 pm in reply to: Note for Studiopress: get error msg each time I post #11692docmasMemberDon't have the 404 url, but it states at the top what I pasted on my first post and then has links to all the other areas. I always choose notify by email, so have never tested that. Just a little disconcerting.
Adam
docmasMemberChris,
I used the Genesis Title Toggler plugin to remove the titles from Pages, though I'll try your code as well, as prefer to minimize plugin use for loading speed (though not sure if this plugin makes changes to the code ONCE or does it on-the-fly each time a page loads. If once, then might as well keep it.
Added your suggestion to get the red titles:
h
1
.entry-title,
h
2
.entry-title,
h
2
.entry-title a {
color
:
#800000
;
}
It worked great for each individual blog post page, yet on the main blog page:
http://thepassiondoctor.com/blog
the titles, which are clickable links, are all in black. Is there something I can do to make them red as well?
Thanks so much,
Adam

and i put my widgets back into the homepage sections.
AND, still looks like no child theme (Agency 1.01) formatting showing up, color or position.
HELP!

actually, my webpage looks purely like a genesis, and no child theme is active at all.
