Still no progress that I've heard of. Disappointed in StudioPress. This is clearly a significant issue for a lot of people--should be addressed.
DanMemberThat'd be great. I appreciate it.
November 24, 2014 at 1:17 am in reply to: Change padding settings to use more room on my site #132651DanMemberThanks WisdmLabs. Actually, I don't mind the actual width the main content or the sidebar, it's more about the unused space. There's about a full inch gap between content and sidebar and another big gap between the sidebar and the edge of the screen.
I assume it's a padding issue but I could have no idea what I'm talking about.
DanMemberI'm just dumb. Problem solved. Thank you again, Lauren.
DanMemberThank you, Lauren. That was mostly what was wrong and it fixed my first two images. For some reason, the last one retained the same effect of getting cut off.. hmm.
DanMemberCompletely forgot that existed. Will check that first. Thanks.
DanMemberHome page. So, as you can see, the trees for example are cut off halfway up. I used the same width and height they used for the demo images but that didn't help.
DanMemberTom,
Thank you so much. That really makes a big difference on how a website feels, at least in my opinion.
I'm good at finding the code that does certain things, but I still don't quite understand how to target it to specific elements within my site, so I really appreciate the assistance.
Best,
Dan

DanMemberThanks, Lauren. I guess I figured it out the other way with the help of that website but I'm glad to know your trick too.

May 10, 2014 at 9:40 am in reply to: My StudioPress Mindstream theme isn't acting very responsive.. #104437DanMemberThanks, Susan. I'll do that. While I'm here, is there a quick line of code to make my header responsive?
Thanks,
Dan
DanMemberAndrea,
Thanks a lot. Yes, it's true I am using a custom style sheet (being overly safe) , but the custom style sheet is set to override the original, and other changes I've made have taken effect.
So, editing the original CSS or the custom, what change needs to be made to remove the black gradient strip for the title header and insert my logo image?
Thanks,
Dan
