Well, it looks like this is a common problem when trying to add a custom logo to the header. But after adding my logo, it wasn't responsive at all, and I'm looking for the best solution for this (ideally, not a plugin).

I've tried a few tricks, including editing some PHP and CSS as suggested by this website: http://blackhillswebworks.com/2013/05/10/how-to-replace-the-studiopress-background-header-image-with-a-real-image-logo/#comment-112129

but it just made my image disappear. Can anyone help me add my logo image and then code it to make sure it's responsive?

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Hey Dan,

Your comment over at that tutorial has a response, letting you know how to make the image re-appear.

I create responsive logos by taking the selector and applying background-size: contain; to it. Then I use the @media queries to change the width and height of the element as necessary.

    Best,
    Lauren

Thanks, Lauren. I guess I figured it out the other way with the help of that website but I'm glad to know your trick too.
