    When I look at your stylesheet this is what I see.

    '.site-footer {
    font-size: 16px;
    padding: 40px 20px;
    text-align: center;
    }'

    I don't see the code changes.

    If you are making the changes and don't see anything when you refresh your site make sure you don't have a cache plugin running

    In style.css look for these areas

    .menu-primary a,
    #header .menu a {
    	border-right: 1px solid #fff;
    	display: block;
    	padding: 7px 15px 6px 15px;  <----change the 7px and 6px to something smaller
    	position: relative;
    	text-decoration: none;
    }

    .menu-secondary a {
    	border-right: 1px solid #fff;
    	color: #fb9b04;
    	display: block;
    	padding: 7px 15px 6px 15px;    <----change the 7px and 6px to something smaller
    	position: relative;
    	text-decoration: none;
    }

    Which method are you using to make the edits?

    If simple edits just add the link into your shortcodes like this example

    Sorry I misread. Not sure how to target specific words on different posts other than to add a span tag to the actual title ie.

    <span style ="color: green; font-size: 16pt">Company Name</span> Rest Of Title

    you edit the footer in functions.php however if you are unfamiliar with editing templates your best bet would be to use the plugin

    here is a tutorial on how to use it

    You can go ahead and remove the Parallax info if you choose.
    To edit you can use the Simple Edits Plugin or the code found here

    Debra Scott

    You don't need to do this. I upgraded a few sites from the RC to 2.0.

    However the process would be to manually install 1.9.2 and then install 2.0.

    I would recommend just upgrading from your current install.

    I don't know why none of the codes aren't working. I wonder if there is a plugin or other code interferring?

    try this one instead

    replace all of this

    global $more;
    if($post == $posts[0]) $more = 0;
    else $more = 1;
    the_content();

    with this

        if ($more == -1) { //do not use the more tag on the first one.
            the_content();
            $more = 0; //prevent this from happening again. use the more tag from now on.
        }
        else { //use the more tag
            the_content(__('Read more...'));
        }
