I wasn't sure how to filter the default output you mentioned, but it's okay! I did it through the general settings, creating custom date format. *duh*
Thanks!!! 🙂

cmagrasMemberUPDATE:
So apparently my cache wasn't clearing like I thought, and I did indeed make the header image mobile friendly! HOWEVER, there is a large white space under the header image when I view it on my phone (and I'm guessing on other screens as well?). Does anyone know what I need to do to remove that??? Here is a link showing a screenshot from my phone of the gap between the header image and menu bar: http://www.sarahkayhoffman.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/image1.png
cmagrasMemberBut what if you DO want it to be the header image (added in "Customize")? Is there a way to still make it mobile friendly?
cmagrasMemberPerfect, thank you Christoph!
cmagrasMemberOops, I tried the code you included Tom, but it didn't work. :/ I'm not sure why though. I added the snippet to my functions, and then replaced my "Footer Widgets" with the css you gave. Any ideas?
cmagrasMemberThanks Tom! I know I didn't ask the question, but I had the same problem. 🙂 What do you recommend for the media queries? I know nothing about those, so I'm apprehensive when it comes to making sure they work properly!
cmagrasMemberThanks Carasmo! I did lower the margin on my .site-inner, and that helped some. Then I realized the Divi Builder had the option to put in a number for margin and padding (for the entire section), so I put in zero, and the two changes combined fixed it! Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. 🙂
cmagrasMemberThanks Carasmo! I copy/pasted (and fixed) the url to access the article. Very helpful! 🙂 It still doesn't give me 100% what I'm looking for, but it's much closer! 🙂 I think eventually I'll check out the Palette Pro, and perhaps all 3 combined will give me the quick and easy I'm looking for!
October 26, 2015 at 10:08 am in reply to: Divi vs. Genesis (Elegant Themes vs. Studio Press) #169059cmagrasMemberonly negative: still has me dealing with their horrid support. 🙁
October 26, 2015 at 10:07 am in reply to: Divi vs. Genesis (Elegant Themes vs. Studio Press) #169058cmagrasMemberSeriously?! I can use the Divi builder with Genesis/SP child themes??? I haven't tried it! (much less thought about it) 🙂 Thanks Brad! I'll give it a shot!
cmagrasMemberSo I totally just found the Genesis Palette Pro.... perhaps this is exactly what I am looking for?!?! 😀 (now I wonder if I can get my money back from Genesis Extender to pay for it???) 😛 (probably not, they don't seem too refund friendly) :/
October 5, 2015 at 10:55 am in reply to: How to Keep Site Description with Header Logo Image #167451cmagrasMemberThank you Victor! That solved it! However, it made my site title appear as well, so I just made that blank (so it wouldn't overlap the image).
cmagrasMemberBrad, I have the same question --- I'm trying to set up different portfolio pages/url's. Each portfolio has its own slug name/category, but how does that give it its own url? For example, I'm using Enterprise Pro, and it says the portfolio page is http://mysite.com/portfolio.
cmagrasMemberThank you Brad! I changed out the code with your #2 suggestion, and it worked!!! Except now my footer widgets are all messed up (super long vertical). It might be a problem with my hooks?? I created a slider and the custom widget, with genesis_before_footer hooks (priorities 1 and 5). I want them only on the homepage, below everything else but above the footer widget area. I've seen hook reference guides, but is there one specifically for the homepage? I'm not sure where to hook my added widgets so they are where I need them.
cmagrasMemberI figured out how to add a portfolio slider for testimonials, but still do not know what hook I need to tell it where to go on the home page.
cmagrasMemberI tried using your widget, but it didn't work for what I was wanting to accomplish. I ended up getting a different theme, although I would still love to know how to create a full-width home page widget for the Agency Pro theme I had originally.
cmagrasMemberThank you so much! That was what I needed. 🙂
cmagrasMemberThank you! And your plugin would work for the specific theme I am using? (I'm used to just sidebar widgets, so the whole "widgets as the entire page" thing with Agency theme, is all new to me!)
