    If you're viewing my link, it would be below the site header and above the blog roll. That's where I want to insert a "permanent" image.

    I'd like to add an image header at the top of my Posts Page. Not a Header Image/Logo.
    I added a Featured Image on my Posts Page, but that was not visible as an image header.

    Any suggestions for how-to? Thank you!

    Hi, Brad.
    The "posts page" is the page that archives all posts (where the blog resides).
    Link is included in original post, but I'll include it again here: http://r3monline.org/partners/

    My blog is called "partners". I would like to insert a header image on the "partners" page (which is my blog/post page).

    Thanks for help!

    Thanks much! That resolved the immediate problem of image duplicating.

    Note: I submitted a ticket, too. Seems it may be a theme glitch. Since I had never set a featured image, whether the box was checked or unchecked should not have mattered.

    Thanks for your input. However, my interests have far less to do with wanting a featured image in my pages/posts and far more to do with NOT wanting duplicate images showing up on the page/post as it is here: http://communityvillage.impcd.com/senior-assisted-living-amenities/dining-services-and-nutrition-for-seniors/

    Typically, I can add an image to any page/post and manipulate where it aligns, the size, whether it's linked, etc. and not be forced to use a featured image (it seems that's what's happening by default within this theme).

    Any suggestions?

    Hey, StudioPress, can you help me out? In addition to the previously mentioned attempts, I've deleted Showcase Pro theme, then reinstalled it. Still no hero image will show.

    Thank you, Stefan. I disabled all plugins, refreshed the home page, and no resolution. Baffled!

    No Jetpack. Flushed cache again. No fix.
    Removed text widget for Hero section - but still no Hero image showing. Added the text widget back again - no Hero image showing.

    Stumped. Thanks for your input, though.

    No, nothing new. Pretty basic plugins. I recently changed my caching settings, but I changed them back to see if this was the conflict. No fix.

    Great help, you two! Thank you!
    My social media icons need to be edited now, since their backgrounds were white by default (so they now get lost with a white background). Can you point me in the right direction to edit the social media icon color? That should get me all set. Thanks again!

    Thank you. This did indeed change the Primary Sidebar color.
    However, the individual widgets in my Primary Sidebar remain a dark shade… and I want white.

    Thanks for the help!

    Thanks for your input, but that still didn't work after adding the semicolon

    This is what I did in style.css, with no success:

    /* Primary Sidebar */

    .sidebar-primary {
    float: right;
    width: 350px;
    background-color: #ffffff
    }
