Cathy @ WPBaristaMember
I am hosted with synthesis and I have over 10 of my clients who I've recommended to host with them. I have worked personally on 5 of the migrations and (estimating) I've worked with an admin at Synthesis to do the migrations. that was before they hired out the migrations. I strongly recommending logging into your synthesis dashboard - and basically copy/pasting what you've pasted here. they'll fall over themselves to rectify the problem. i refer them as hosts above any one else and NOT for the customer service - because they're the best. The customer service that I've experienced has been the icing on the cake for me. i know they'll fix this for you!!

Apparently paging has to be run through the wp_query which I did several times, using many code snippets from people much smarter than me. THen through many more searches read one of the WP developers discussing that it isn't possible to use offset & paginationin the same query. So the alternative suggestion is to preclude duplicate posts from the other loops on the page. But that created a new set of requirements from the client, so we negotiated on some expectations. Like how I said that? Negotiated on expectations. lol Have a great day!

I had to re-do the whole thing many times. It turns out that WP wp_query and query_posts both don't like to offset & posts_per_page at the same time.
The page navigation was showing up - but regardless of which page you were on, it always showed the content that should have been on page 1. Very weird. We had to compromise on our results in this case.
Thank you for offering your assistance!

In your stylesheet, around line 717, is this:
#generate-box .aweber #subbutton
Change the margin to this:
margin: 0 0 0 5px;
And that should fix it.

@media screen and (min-width: 960px) { .slide-excerpt { left: 35%; }}

<code>
@media screen and (min-width: 960px) {
your css here
}
</code>

Then I can make a more informed suggestion.

Check your head code (under Genesis theme settings). Sorry I can't be more help. Have you submitted an email ticket through my.studiopress.com?

I also do paid support (starting at $75) and fully custom Genesis Child Themes.Cathy @ WPBaristaMemberI use that plugin all the time. THe only other thing I can suggest, is removing the slider from the widget area and hard-coding it into the home template. But that will require some editing of the home template. Is this a live site? If so, you'll need to use FTP. Are you familiar with that?

Yet tools.pingdom.com says your site is loading in under 3 seconds. But it does take FOREVER for that slider to load. If you deactivate some of the plugins, does the load time get better?

If home-bottom-1 and home-bottom-2 are supposed to appear in their obvious places (home-bottom perhaps? 🙂 ), use this in the functions file:
<code>
add_action('genesis_after_loop', 'child_home_after_loop');
function child_home_after_loop() {
if ( is_home() ) {
dynamic_sidebar( 'home-bottom-1' );
dynamic_sidebar( 'home-bottom-2' );
}}

I also do paid support (starting at $75) and fully custom Genesis Child Themes.Cathy @ WPBaristaMemberYou will need to create a custom comments callback. Here is a sample that I did awhile back: http://desperatelyseekingwp.com/2011/10/genesis-framework-snippets/ and then you'll need to be familiar with editing the comment template. See this link for that: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_list_comments#Comments_Only_With_A_Custom_Comment_Display
Good luck!
