Victor, thank you for the candid reply. Looks like I've missed a lot since 2016 when blocks were just getting started with Gutenberg and Elementor. As much as I am enamored with the legacy Magazine Pro I have discovered AinoBlocks Makoney and may bite the bullet and start clean in this brave new world of FSE.

That said. At this point, let me see if I got this right. It seems to be that FSE is like premade HTML containers with some customizable .css or something like that?

So then the Genesis Blocks plugin offers a group of styled blocks, yes? I could order some other vendor's plugin of blocks instead, yes? And WP 6.0.1 has their set of blocks built in, Is that right? Any conflicts? Or if I was a developer I could install the Genesis Custom Blocks for creating blocks? Is this in line with where things are headed? Making bunches of assumptions.

Finally, what happens to legacy plugins like the Events Calendar (EC), Gravity Forms, etc? I read at EC that they are "working on it" That was three months ago. I will have to look into their 6.0.1 as it appears FSE is "sort of" functional if one uses the shortcodes.

    Present at Creation!
