Here's the first thing I found - the cushion, which is the easiest right now. And then I'll go look at the other.
Change the first "0" in the Padding to about 25px - then save it. That puts a padding at the top of the the tag area.
.post-meta {
clear: both;
font-size: 11px;
padding: 0 0 10px;
text-transform: uppercase;
}

#home-top {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
height: 400px;
margin: 20px auto;
overflow: hidden;
padding: 20px;
width: 920px;
}

AnitaKeymasterOh, okay. Sorry. I was looking for a button of some sort. So you want the share buttons to come before the "You might also like?"

AnitaKeymasterThey have asked us to just write spam in the box and in the Tag. That's what Susan and I have been doing.

AnitaKeymasterJust re-read his instructions. His instructions are the easiest way to add a full-width widget area. Just 1,2,3 and it's there.
1. Register Your Widget Area - Open up your child theme’s functions.php file, and place the code he provided.
2. Hook the Welcome Text widget - Also in your child theme’s functions.php file, place the code he provided. Just place it right below the newly registered widgets.
3. Style Your Welcome Text - Open your child theme’s style.css file, place this the code he provided at the very bottom.

AnitaKeymasterClear your cache because it should not show up if you deleted that line. Keep in mind you need to either replace the image or put a color variable in there for your background color.

AnitaKeymasterCan you post a link to your site? Also, in the page template - how do you have it set up - content-sidebar or sidebar-content-sidebar, how is it set?

AnitaKeymasterYes, go to Appearance - -> Editor and it will land you on the Style.css. I recommend you copy and paste the code into an editor in case you make an error. Then edit the style.css as you need to.

AnitaKeymasterAnother suggestion is using the Jetpack plugin. That along with some other useful features are included in the pack.

AnitaKeymasterThey are using BBPress.org for this forum. You can use Buddypress.org with BBPress.org. And they have the GenesisConnect plugin that assists with conforming the theme you use so that everything is formatted properly.

AnitaKeymasterCan you post the header information you put in your new template?

AnitaKeymasterLook directly in your CSS. Do a search in the CSS and you will see it there - just search for the wrap.jpg file and you will see the area you need to edit.

AnitaKeymasterYes, try removing that and see if that helps.

AnitaKeymasterI love the site, but I couldn't figure out what it was saying in the logo. I think it's the font. I am using Firefox.
