AnitaKeymasterSorry I couldn't be of more help and I see no one else has chimed in. I did another Google search and found this - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11206736/wordpress-genesis-theme-changing-the-logo-from-text-to-graphic and it has the following code in it - but read the link.
if ( is_active_sidebar( 'header-right' ) || has_action( 'genesis_header_right' ) ) {
echo '';
do_action( 'genesis_header_right' );
dynamic_sidebar( 'header-right' );
echo '';
}
}

AnitaKeymasterSo this is how you would actually remove it all together -
/** Remove the header right widget area */
unregister_sidebar( 'header-right' );But, if you only want to remove it from the home and show it on the single post/pages, then you need to add to your code the "is_single()" function.
I found a blog that might help you - scroll down where it says, "Can I say Which Pages the Widget Shows Up On? - http://journalxtra.com/easyguides/howto-add-widgets-genesis-child-themes-4876/.
Sorry I cannot be of more help. I am not good at this either.

AnitaKeymasterI found some instruction on the old forum that says:
In the Home.php - remove this line below:
remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' );
and then... remove this line also:
add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' );
It seemed to work for the person who asked initially.

AnitaKeymasterWe posted at the same time I see. So you have a white background image now - images/white/bg.png. So if you have a white background image there - the color will not show through.

AnitaKeymasterThe background on the default Agentpress theme is a background image identified as i"mages/gray/bg.png". You must remove the image for your background color to show up.

AnitaKeymasterBill Erickson has instruction on Genesis Subpages as Secondary Menu - http://www.billerickson.net/genesis-subpages-as-secondary-menu/. And it's actually a plugin too - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-subpages-as-secondary-menu/.

AnitaKeymasterYou might want to take a look at Ninja-Notes (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ninja-notes/).

AnitaKeymasterI used that for a client and asked that question on the old forum. I was told there isn't a way to automate or have it slide. It's strictly a manual function.

AnitaKeymasterI've updated my site and three others. What hosting service do you have? We are using Godaddy.

AnitaKeymaster...hummmm I will go install a dummy site to try the Beta and maybe I will understand how to use it. Thank you.

AnitaKeymasterIt is a copy paste. Just read his instructions. He tells you exactly where to copy and paste the code.

AnitaKeymasterOh, Nick sent me an email asking me to do that versus sending them an email. They are pulling them out by the tag "spam". And I think they are the only ones that have figured out how they can do it so much!

AnitaKeymasterJust use FTP and remove them from your Themes directory.

AnitaKeymasterLol, morning Susan. I was on this morning - quite a few Kitchen postings on here. I think I tagged them all.

AnitaKeymasterFor the Linkwithin - well they don't provide any instructions for it. I use a plugin called nReleate which give you a code you can use to insert it where ever you want. Not quite sure how to help you on moving that below the social icons.

AnitaKeymasterHere's the first thing I found - the cushion, which is the easiest right now. And then I'll go look at the other.
Change the first "0" in the Padding to about 25px - then save it. That puts a padding at the top of the the tag area.
.post-meta {
clear: both;
font-size: 11px;
padding: 0 0 10px;
text-transform: uppercase;
}

AnitaKeymasterIt's in this code - the #FFFFFF
#home-top {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
height: 400px;
margin: 20px auto;
overflow: hidden;
padding: 20px;
width: 920px;
}

AnitaKeymasterOh, okay. Sorry. I was looking for a button of some sort. So you want the share buttons to come before the "You might also like?"
