Hi again @RobG, what theme are you using in this case and what exact area do you want to eliminate. This will help me and others in giving you a solution.

AnitaKeymaster@jamesalex - your initial question is "how do I REMOVE footer credits from the website?" It wasn't "how do I EDIT footer credits from the website?" I am glad you found your solution.

AnitaKeymasterOh, you are welcome @RobG. If you want to remove the XML info, as far as I know... you will have to go to your Pages/Posts and delete them, then empty your trash - that's because you've imported it as content. But if you just put the check marks next to each one, it shouldn't take you long at all.

AnitaKeymasterWere you able to resolve your issue? If not, GFAW has it's own support forum here - http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/genesis-featured-widget-amplified.

February 3, 2013 at 12:58 am in reply to: How to remove 3 dots… from Genesis Responsive Slider after post? #17566AnitaKeymasterYou would need to edit this inside the plugin itself. I would suggest posting this question on the plugin support page - http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/genesis-responsive-slider.

AnitaKeymasterPlease post a link to your site so we can take a look, thanks.

February 3, 2013 at 12:50 am in reply to: Is it a good idea to install Jetpack by WordPress.com on a self host wordpress? #17562AnitaKeymasterI use it all the time now and yes I use the Mobile version. Most importantly, I use it on my clients who have decided not to use "responsive" themes or if they are using an older SP theme and don't want to switch. It provides a link for the visitor to use the Mobile version or the Full Version.
A note about Share buttons - if you use another share service right now and you decide you want to use the Jetpack share buttons - the counts will carry over, it's not like you'll have to start over from "0" on your share accounts.
There is a form creator in there also that I use all the time for the contact pages, requests for quotes, prayer requests.
They are constantly updating Jetpack and adding new features.

AnitaKeymasterWould someone be able to assist with this? Thanks.

AnitaKeymasterDo you have the Resources page set as your Static home page? If so, that's why.

AnitaKeymasterLook for this in your Style.css: change the 100% to about 45%.
.header-full-width #title-area, .header-full-width #title, .header-full-width #title a {
width: 10%;
}

AnitaKeymasterYou could add "pagination" to the posts by adding this code into your posts. So if the content is really long you can split it into pages with page links at the bottom - 1, 2, 3, 4
<!--nextpage-->

February 2, 2013 at 1:44 pm in reply to: How to make 'Home' appear as 'Blog Template' – grid posts? #17403AnitaKeymasterIn your home.php file:
/** Add support for Genesis Grid Loop */
function eleven40_grid_loop_helper() { if ( function_exists( 'genesis_grid_loop' ) ) { genesis_grid_loop( array( 'features' => 1, 'feature_image_size' => 0, 'feature_image_class' => 'alignleft post-image', 'feature_content_limit' => 0, 'grid_image_size' => 'grid-thumbnail', 'grid_image_class' => 'alignnone', 'grid_content_limit' => 250, 'more' => __( '[Continue reading]', 'genesis' ), ) ); } else { genesis_standard_loop(); } }
You could change the number next to "features" to the number of posts you want on the front. Then remove the three lines beginning with "grid".
Or, you could change the settings in Settings > Reading - make the Blog page your home page.
Whichever works best for you.

February 2, 2013 at 1:39 pm in reply to: Is there a way to get the sample posts and pages on a test site #17401AnitaKeymasterYes, you can import the XML of the demo content which is included in the themes zip file. Just go to Tools > Import. Select the WordPress Importer, then browse your desktop to your themes folder and import the XML. Besure to include all of the attachments.

February 2, 2013 at 1:33 pm in reply to: Recommendation ? for the best carousel sliders / galleries etc #17398AnitaKeymasterMy recommendation - Sililoquy Plugin - http://soliloquywp.com/features/
Here are the add ons also which includes Instagram and Carousel - http://soliloquywp.com/addons/

AnitaKeymasterIt's using an image as seen in your code below:
.after-post ul li, .archive-page ul li, .entry-content ul li {
background: url("images/list.png") no-repeat scroll left top transparent;
list-style-type: none;
margin: 0 0 5px 20px;
padding: 0 0 0 15px;
word-wrap: break-word;
}You could re-write that to give you "squares" like this:
.after-post ul li, .archive-page ul li, .entry-content ul li {
list-style-type: square;
margin: 0 0 5px 20px;
padding: 0 0 0 15px;
word-wrap: break-word;
}

February 2, 2013 at 8:46 am in reply to: Eleven40 – How to change the default 'featured image' sizes #17345AnitaKeymasterOh, and to resize the featured images on the Blog page, go to Settings > Media and change the size there where it says "Thumbnail Size." If they don't re-size, you may have to use the "Regenerate Thumbnails" plugin - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/.

February 2, 2013 at 8:39 am in reply to: Eleven40 – How to change the default 'featured image' sizes #17343AnitaKeymasterLook inside your Functions.php file. You should see this:
/** Add support for Genesis Grid Loop */ function eleven40_grid_loop_helper() { if ( function_exists( 'genesis_grid_loop' ) ) { genesis_grid_loop( array( 'features' => 1, 'feature_image_size' => 0, 'feature_image_class' => 'alignleft post-image', 'feature_content_limit' => 0, 'grid_image_size' => 'grid-thumbnail', 'grid_image_class' => 'alignnone', 'grid_content_limit' => 250, 'more' => __( '[Continue reading]', 'genesis' ), ) ); } else { genesis_standard_loop(); } }
Add a featrured size where you see zero (0). The grid thumbnail is reading from the code below. Change that as you need it.
** Add new image sizes */
add_image_size( 'grid-thumbnail', 270, 100, TRUE );You can copy/paste that line to create more sizes.

AnitaKeymaster@RobG, when you first install one of the SP themes, if you want it to look like the Demo, there is an XML file inside your Theme Zip file that contains the demo contents. Install your theme. Then go to Tools > Import and select WordPress from the list. Install the plugin. Then, it will ask you to upload a file. Locate the XML file inside your Theme file, and import it. It will import all the content so you can set up the site just like the Demo and you can see how everything has been placed. As you build your new site, you can start to delete/eliminate all the dummy XML content. This kinda helps you to learn your new theme. I hope that helps.
