MemberHello I wanted to know if there were more tutorials on how to add images to the portfolio section of my new Minimum child theme. It comes with a sample image but I wanted to add a real image in its place. Thanks

MemberInstalling the theme does not load a sample image into the portfolio. You would need to have imported the XML file for that. In which case you delete the portfolio posts that you don't want and create new posts. Or change the featured images of the posts that are imported.

Keymaster@RobG, when you first install one of the SP themes, if you want it to look like the Demo, there is an XML file inside your Theme Zip file that contains the demo contents. Install your theme. Then go to Tools > Import and select WordPress from the list. Install the plugin. Then, it will ask you to upload a file. Locate the XML file inside your Theme file, and import it. It will import all the content so you can set up the site just like the Demo and you can see how everything has been placed. As you build your new site, you can start to delete/eliminate all the dummy XML content. This kinda helps you to learn your new theme. I hope that helps.

KeymasterOh, you are welcome @RobG. If you want to remove the XML info, as far as I know... you will have to go to your Pages/Posts and delete them, then empty your trash - that's because you've imported it as content. But if you just put the check marks next to each one, it shouldn't take you long at all.
