Disable post

Hello is there any way for me to disable post for my WordPress website? I don't really want to use them for my new site so I would like to disable this feature.

Hello Anitac, I'm using the  Minimum Child Theme and what I want to do is just create a few pages, but I won't be using this website for blogging so I would like to ether disable, the post feature or at least hide, it from showing on my main home page. Thanks so much.

You can set it up to only have a Static Page as your home page, then only place Pages in your menu. If you don't create any blog posts, they won't ever show up. Do you still want the featured image on the home page?

Sorry for not displaying the link to my new website I'm still working on it. As for the featured images showing on my main page I don't really think I will even need it.
