@kimber9826, I am not sure how familiar you are with WordPress, but what you are asking isn't really "theme specific." With any theme you purchase or download from the repository - they only provide details on things that may be more complicated. What you are asking about is just merely dragging the appropriately name widgets to the appropriately named widget areas?
If you want to set up the site like the demo.. with the actual content - you would do it like any other Studiopress/Genesis Framework theme. You need to import the Demo Content which is in the XML file provided with the theme.
Go to Tools > Import and select the WordPress Importer tool.
Then, browse to your themes folder on your desktop and locate the XML file.
Import the content and leave everything as it is - bring in the posts under whatever name it says - and not your own. The reason for this is so it's easier to REMOVE the demo content when you are ready.But basically, all you do is drag the widgets where you want them.

AnitaKeymasterAnitaKeymasterThanks Susan, I really have to get back to writing some decent blogs. I haven't written anything of substance at all since early summer!

AnitaKeymasterMike, use FTP and copy over the original functions.php file to your theme folder. The site will return. Sometimes when you copy/paste code that someone provides on here - the apostrophes (') and quote (") do not appear properly. So you need to go back and type them in the correct way or copy/paste them in using Notepad first. If you still need help, please let me know. Don't give up yet.

AnitaKeymasterCould you use David Decker's instructions for a widgetized 404 page to accomplish this... just replace 404 with say, featured links - http://genesisthemes.de/en/2011-08/tutorial-widgetized-404-error-page-in-genesis/.

AnitaKeymasterCheck out David Decker's instruction on creating a Widgetized 404 page. You probably use this as a guide renaming 404 to whatever you want - http://genesisthemes.de/en/2011-08/tutorial-widgetized-404-error-page-in-genesis/.

AnitaKeymasterGlad it worked for you both.

AnitaKeymasterYou just drag what you want into the Secondary Sidebar.

AnitaKeymasterYou need to set up the demo content into the areas. I don't see that in there. I see your own information.

AnitaKeymasterI just posted here and it's in SPAM.
Here is your code in the CSS. Change it to 100.
.post-image {
margin: 0 10px 10px 0;
width: 150px;
}

AnitaKeymasterSure, just click the group link in my footer.

AnitaKeymasterLook at the line:
#nav
.... look at the width
.... add something like 325px after the 60pxYou will see that the menu will then slide off the right. If you use these instructions, you will need to make the navigation shorter.
So.... make the width 800px
I tried this using Firefox. I hope it works for you.

AnitaKeymasterIt's scrolling for me. Why don't you use import the demo content. Just go to Tools, Import - select the WordPress Importer, install, activate, then browse you desktop for the XML file which contains the demo content.

AnitaKeymasterOpen up your functions.php file. Look under the image settings and see if you see one that is 150 x 100. If so, change that to the size you want.

February 12, 2013 at 4:11 pm in reply to: Page set as public but get error when trying to view #19924AnitaKeymasterGo to Appearance, Menu - you must have added that as a custom menu item and took the PREVIEW link and inserted it in there. You can delete that and then add it back from the Pages area on the Menu page.

AnitaKeymasterJust found out from another user on the LinkedIn Group that if you remove the plugin, all of your customizations will be deactivated. So that's it for me... I won't be getting the Extender plugin.
