I just uploaded the new Modern Portfolio theme.  I can not get it to scroll like a 1 page theme that the demo shows.  It is acting like a multipage theme.  What am I doing wrong?   See it at :   http://www.446.com/Modern

    Thanks for any help

The URL is not working. Can you post a working URL to your site?

It's scrolling for me. Why don't you use import the demo content. Just go to Tools, Import - select the WordPress Importer, install, activate, then browse you desktop for the XML file which contains the demo content.

    Anitac:

Yes, I have already downloaded the XML file.  That is why there are some images.  So I got it to look like the demo but the links to not work.

It is not scrolling.  In fact if you will click on one of the links you will see that it does not take you to that section of the site, it gives an error message instead.

I followed the info on how to create the proper menu links to take you to the various sections but it is not working.

    I really appreciate your help.

You need to set up the demo content into the areas. I don't see that in there. I see your own information.

    This is the instruction:

Use the Custom Links meta boxes to include the URLs with the hash mark, changing the URL to your site.

    http://demo.studiopress.com/modern-portfolio#about

    http://demo.studiopress.com/modern-portfolio#portfolio

    (...and so on...)

    You have in your button:

    http://w446.com/Modern/modern-portfolio/#about

    But it should be:

    http://w446.com/Modern/#about

Try this out, it should work.

    Greetings, T.

Flusel,  you did it.  I knew it was something simple.  I would have sworn that I had already tried that but I guess not.  Thank you very much.
